Flynn admitted to the court that he lied to the FBI. He is a criminal who is only out of jail due to a Trump pardon. Many who analyzed him think he is the Q of Qanon. He is certainly no patriot. He was an agent of foreign countries and it just slipped his mind when he was asked. He was hanging around with Putin too. This is not what an American ex-soldier is supposed to do.
Mental illness would explain why Flynn, a former and now-disgraced Army General, would have such a terrible fall from grace.
The laws, and rightfully so, make it difficult to strip a person of their rights "for their own good". In the past such a system was abused. Now it's almost totally lacking and often absent.
Not that Flynn is likely to shoot up a school or mall, but notice all the notorious "mass shooters" were mentally ill yet nothing was or could be done until after people were dead, often with the mentally ill person commiting suicide. Something wrong there.
A pardon he freely accepted when advised otherwise since it's 1) an admission of guilt and 2) puts him obligated to testify on related issues. That last part could prove very interesting in a year or two.

Could we say the same about Rudi? Or could it be age-related. I'm more perplexed by Rudy's fall from Grace than Flynn's. We all saw Rudi in his prime and during 9/11. He was a strong, coherent leader. WTF happened?
Maybe. In Rudy's case it could be age related and a desperation to cash in before it's too late. Some people freak out when offered a ton of money.
Notice that Trump has stiffed paying Rudy. Why would anyone trust a liar and a cheat?

I've followed Flynn since the bush years. He's a religious kook and never met a conspiracy theory he didn't love. He and his spawn both pushed the Pizzagate lie. Maybe that appeals to you but I prefer facts.
