Michael Flynn claims COVID-19 pandemic fabricated to distract from 2020 election

So do you think all those people who take HCQ, like my cousin does for rheumatoid arthritis, are wrong to do so? HCQ has been shown to be beneficial for CV19 if taken early enough along with azithromycin and zinc. The reason Big Pharma don't like it is there's no money to be made as it's out of patent, surely you must realise that?

A friend of mine was in a coma for several months a while back and now suffers from adult onset Still's disease. HCQ is pretty much the only drug that works to treat it. Here are some papers for you to read as well, try to keep an open mind and please avoid any mention of Trump and CNN.

Low-dose hydroxychloroquine combined with zinc and azithromycin was an effective therapeutic approach against COVID-19.

Significantly reduced hospitalisation rates in the treatment group.

Reduced mortality rates in the treatment group.

I was being sarcastic about Flynn and HCQ because some of the side effects MAY include the feeling that others are watching you or controlling your behavior, feeling that others can hear your thoughts, feeling, seeing, or hearing things that are not there and severe mood or mental changes. I'm not saying that everybody who takes it has these effects, or that the drug isn't effective for some diseases. I'm not sure I agree with you that Big Pharma doesn't like HCQ because it's cheap since that's the case with other drugs, too... lithium and Lipitor, for instance.

Anyway the point of the thread is Flynn's increasingly erratic behaviour and thinking. He's still in a position where he can influence people with some of his dangerous ideas.

All of Trump's supporters are clinically insane. No exaggeration.

In 2015 I looked at trump's candidacy as a stunt, like preparation for another reality show. I thought his hate speech was a put-on, that he was just acting, and that nobody could take his shtick seriously. Then trump got the nomination, won the election and I started to realize that his supporters really were crazy to give credence to this lying, phony carnival barker. It was downhill from there. Yes, they really are nuts.

A few dozen people will undoubtedly earn their doctorals with a thesis on how and why Donald J. Trump was elected in the 2016 election.

IMO, for Trump, it was a stunt. Just a way to be in the limelight. Then he won the nomination. Still such a large joke that the Republicans were already figuring out what they were going to do under another Clinton presidency. Then Trump won. Even Trump was surprised once you get past his bullshit.

One factor was a cancer that had been festering inside the Republican party ever since all the religious and conspiracy theory buffs were allowed majority vote at the meetings.

This angry RW sentiment had been inflamed for years by RW talk radio, and then the Internet, for the previous 20 years. RW Radio couldn't exist without extreme, anti-government RW sentiment in the nation. Since good businessmen always give the customer what he wants, extreme RW media flourished into a multibillion dollar business. The answer, of course, isn't banning anything. It's understanding why this hate was growing in America.

Just pointing fingers isn't a solution. In fact, I think pointing fingers of blame enflames divisions, not heals them. Understanding the causes of problems is a step to solving them. Such causes won't go away if ignored or made illegal.

IMO the core cause is that too many people in America feel that their children, and their own elder years, are going to be worse than their parents experienced. This is a legitimate concern that easily turns into fear, then hate.

Are you saying that it's either natural or by accident or both?

It was not natural. No one believes that it was.

Scenario 1: It was an accident, and the CCP covered it up because they a) figured it would do them serious harm regardless of how they reacted, and b) saw an enormous opportunity to inflict even greater damage on their rival nations. We don't really know how many Chinese have died or been infected. The only entity retarded enough to believe the CCP at this point is the WHO.

Scenario 2: The CCP deliberately let it leak out, knowing that it would have devastating effects on the world and assuming they could get ahead of it first. They probably had no idea how willfully ignorant Western progressives would be.

Unknown at this time. Do you believe HIV and Ebola are natural? Did the Chinese do that too or is it a secret plot of the Chimps to get back at humans?

I strongly doubt it was a deliberate attack. Hanlon’s Razor applies.

the vrious "studies" sabotaged it by using hospital patients - too late for that to be effective
It was pointed out by front line doctors it has to be given as you say here, and it has to be at first sign of infection.

Our medical bureaucracy deliberately sabotaged treatment by HCQ

Yet the Dems never seem to wonder why that was. It's the same story in England, Labour were far more concerned with identity politics, isms and gender bullshit to notice that previous heartlands in the north of England detested them. Trump tapped into that as well, yet the Dems have seemingly learnt no lessons from last time. Come next year they'll be given a severe arsekicking to remind them.

Trump :palm:

So you say.

Other than dishonest people and the WHO, no one is even bothering to make a case for it being natural. Even when it was assumed to be the most likely reason (because we had been lied to, especially by the progressive media), people reacted with endless jokes about eating bats, which seems a bit like disbelief, in retrospect.

This raises the question why hasn't Flynn's family had him committed already? I think taking hydroxychloroquine for 30 years fried his brain.

"Former national security advisor Michael Flynn said that he believes the coronavirus pandemic was fabricated to distract from the 2020 election. Flynn, who has become a prominent figure in the QAnon conspiracy theory, falsely claimed in an interview Friday that the virus was made up before November 3 last year "to gain control" of society...

... "Why? Because everything, everything, and this is my truth, what I believe, everything is a distraction to what happened on November 3," he continued. "Everything we hear about Covid, and how Covid started before November 3, it is all meant to control, it is all meant to gain control of a society to be able to force decisions on society, instead of allowing 'we the people' to make decisions."

Flynn also claimed he had taken hydroxychloroquine - the anti-malaria prescription drug touted by Former President Trump as a COVID-19 cure - for 30 years."

It certainly made it easier to stuff the ballot boxes with write in ballots didn't it?

Flynn slunk away into the super far right. He may be the Q of Qanon. He has been involved with the lowest level of Trumpies. He is an embarrassment to the military service. He admitted to being a liar in court. Flynn respects the truth as much as Trump does...zero.
