NEA approves a plan to promote critical race theory in all school districts

Because my ancestors were too busy running from your "very fine ancestors" all over Europe since the Diaspora.

And mine were being chased around Europe by the Muslim slavers lol. Why do I get the idea they’re careful not teach that?

You had a point? You thought?

For proof of my point.

I show you evidence and you find ways to discount it so we’ll just have to wait. As much as democrats rely on urban woman I’d be careful about pissing them off.

Press on lol. I want them to lose anyway.

How did I "discount" your evidence?

They were?

Who were your ancestors?

Because Christian Moors enslaved lots of people.

In fact, Spain was a Christian slave state beginning with the Spanish Inquisition and extending into the 18th century. Spain was a CATHOLIC and WHITE country.

Are you just making shit up now? Come on.

You don't even know your own family history...SAD.

Thank God it ain't happenin' in Florida!

It ain't happening nowhere!

Critical Race Theory is a Debate Subject Harvard Law School used to teach their students the art of debate. Critical Race Theory poses a question to the law student- Does Systematic Racism exist in American History? The students choose either the yes side or the no side to debate the question in the classroom.

So someone is very stupid that says Critical Race Theory is being used in schools- WHAT? THE ART OF DEBATE?

Give me a break- THAT is just pure ignorance! OR SOMEBODY'S ON CRACK!

A new study suggests that a million or more European Christians were enslaved by Muslims in North Africa between 1530 and 1780 – a far greater number than had ever been estimated before.

In a new book, Robert Davis, professor of history at Ohio State University, developed a unique methodology to calculate the number of white Christians who were enslaved along Africa’s Barbary Coast, arriving at much higher slave population estimates than any previous studies had found.

_____________

Here you thought you knew everything there was to know about slavery lol.

Why can’t they teach that we’re all descended from slaves? Would there be a problem with that? It’s history, right?

But your ancestors weren't among them because they weren't in Africa.

So you're trying to claim them in order to lend yourself credibility in an argument where you have none.

The problem is that you haven't done the genealogy on your own family, so you just assume that your ancestors were slaves because some people were in 250 years.

Perhaps your ancestors sold white slaves to those slave traders!

Here you thought you knew everything there was to know about slavery lol.

So how many of those European slaves were sold to American plantations?

Do you know?

You don't?

So you just vomited out a non-sequitur to try and usurp victimhood for something you're not even 100% sure of the history or accuracy.

What does your ancestors selling white slaves to slave traders have to do with CRT?

Why can’t they teach that we’re all descended from slaves?

You're not descended from slaves, though, because you can't prove your ancestors were a) from North Africa and b) not the slave traders themselves!!!

Would there be a problem with that? It’s history, right?

It's not your history. And what does that have to do with trafficking slaves to America?

I thought CRT taught the history of slavery. I do know that if Muslims took a million white Europeans into slavery some of them were almost certainly my ancestors. There weren’t nearly as many people in Europe at the time.

Maybe we should get reparations from the Saudi’s.

I thought CRT taught the history of slavery.

Well then you thought wrong, because that's not what it's about.

The enslavement of Black people for white plantation owners in the US is a component of CRT and helps explain why so many Conservatives still have that slaveowner's mindset, despite being spectacular failures in their personal lives.

I do know that if Muslims took a million white Europeans into slavery some of them were almost certainly my ancestors.

There were 61 million people living in Europe in 1550, and only 4,000 slaves a year taken on the Barbary Coast.

Is the Barbary Coast in Europe, yes or no?

What seems to have happened is that Barbary pirates took over naval vessels and turned the sailors of those vessels into slaves.

It was such a gigantic problem that we attacked them in 1801 because of it.

You don't know SHIT. LOL...what a fucking joke.

By 1750, there were 125 million people living in Europe

Your link said 1 million Europeans were taken as slaves between 1550 - 1780, which is less than 4,500 a year.

You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

CRT is my new favorite thing ever. And to think a month ago I didn't know it existed.

The reason they hate CRT so much is that it ruins the myth of American exceptionalism that they rely on to justify their complacency.

Because if they had to admit that they only achieved what they achieved in life because of a system set up for them, it makes their achievements much less meaningful...so they can't boast about how hard they worked (lol yeah right) to achieve their mediocrity.

Who would want to have their kid learn that their parents are lazy fuckwits who couldn't even properly take advantage of a system that was designed specifically for them? How embarrassing.

You seem to know more about it than the OSU study on it lol.

How did you get so darn smart?

So that’s your excuse for not making it?

The ‘system’ was stacked against you?

You seem to know more about it than the OSU study on it lol.

No, I actually read the study and you didn't.

You just searched for topline, bias-confirming information.

From where do you think the line "to the shores of Tripoli" comes from? US attacking Barbary pirates in North Africa. And why? Because they were taking over American vessels and turning the sailors into slaves.

So no, your ancestors were most definitely not slaves...they were probably toiling in the dirt for their Lord, like the good little serfs they were and you still are today.

You were like....SO MANY EUROPEANS TAKEN AS SLAVES...except that it wasn't that many, it was over 250 years, and the totality of those slaves comes to less than 1% of the entire population of Europe in 1750.

You just ran your mouth again, because you lack all self-control.
