Now it's 'dangerous,' we are told, to stop Dems from overthrowing the American people

And Republicans thought the Democrats were crazy to believe the 2016 election was stolen and that Russia influenced the election results.

Except that there actually was collusion in 2016, Russia hacked into every single state's election systems, and Republicans and bOtHsIdEriSts insisted REPEATEDLY that Trump and his campaign had no contact with Russia.

Turns out you were all lying about that.

Every. Single. One of you.

Now the Republicans are willing to believe all those same crazy falsehoods (substitute China for Russia).

Not a falsehood...Russia colluded with Trump in the 2016 election.

That is what the Senate Intelligence Committee (headed by Republicans at the time) concluded.

That is what the Mueller Report concludes.

That is what the Treasury Department concluded.

That is what the FBI concluded.

So the question, Flash, is why do you continue lying about something that you know is a lie?

LV426---READ. My comments were only about what Republicans and Democrats believed about 2016 and 2020. They both thought the other side cheated.

"And Republicans thought the Democrats were crazy to believe the 2016 election was stolen and that Russia influenced the election results.
Now the Republicans are willing to believe all those same crazy falsehoods (substitute China for Russia)."

I said nothing about whether the accusations of either side were truthful. I'm talking about how each side is willing to believe anything about the other.

Stick to what posters actually say and not make up stuff for you to argue against.

You did prove my point about partisans believing anything bad about the other side and refusing to accept any negative facts regarding their own.

They both thought the other side cheated.

But they did cheat in 2016 and several reports and committees confirm that, such as:

Senate Intelligence Committee
Senate Foreign Relations Committee
House Intelligence Committee
House Foreign Relations Committee
The Mueller Report
The FBI
The Treasury Department
The IRS
The State Department

All of them conclude that Trump colluded with Russia.

So we were right.

I said nothing about whether the accusations of either side were truthful.

And that's your big failure.

I'm talking about how each side is willing to believe anything about the other.

Well, that's just lazy bOtHsIdErISm.

Stick to what posters actually say and not make up stuff for you to argue against.

What you do is sophistry, and you know you are doing it. You are making a conscious effort to do it.

You did prove my point about partisans believing anything bad about the other side and refusing to accept any negative facts regarding their own.

What the fuck are you even talking about?

Everything we suspected about the 2016 election was proven true.

Nothing the GOP suspected about the 2020 election was proven true.

You don't make that distinction because you are trying to frame yourself as somehow above the partisan fray, when your hyperbole and bOtHsIdErIsm does more to perpetuate partisanship than either side.

You confuse facts with discussing what partisans believe. If we say 50% of Republicans believe Trump lost the election because of fraud that is a different topic than whether the fraud occurred. It is about their beliefs. You are too anxious to get in partisan points than discussing the topic.

But Republicans did not believe that just like Democrats did not believe there was cheating in 2020. Partisan beliefs is the topic while you want to discuss another issue.

You confuse facts with discussing what partisans believe

What is it about the fact that no less than six different committees and agencies concluded the same thing about Trump cheating in 2016 that you don't understand, Flash?

Help me understand why you can't seem to understand that?

Help me understand why you are trying to draw an equivalence between the suspicions Democrats had about the 2016 election that were confirmed, and the suspicions Republicans have about the 2020 election that aren't confirmed?

Cuz I don't get what point you're trying to make here.

You're trying to say that bOtHSiDeS because Democrats believed Trump stole the 2016 election while Republicans believe Biden stole the 2020 election. The difference is that we've gotten confirmation of the former, but no confirmation exists of the latter.

But that doesn't stop you from making a false equivalence, which only exacerbates partisanship by legitimizing GOP bullshit.

If we say 50% of Republicans believe Drumpf lost the election because of fraud that is a different topic than whether the fraud occurred.

It's the same topic, Flash.

What you're doing is what you always do; you deliberately leave out exculpatory evidence that completely changes what you're saying.

That's one of your bad habits; lying by omission.

Facts don't matter in an "us vs. them" dynamic.
People who genuinely hate one another will find a way to disagree on every single issue.
That's the state of our failing nation today.

It is about their beliefs.

Uh-huh...

Problem is, the beliefs of one side were validated and the beliefs of the other side weren't.

That's what you leave out to make your BoThsIdEs.

A pretty significant thing to leave out.

Because by leaving it out, you are saying that Democrats and Republicans are the same in that they believe elections were stolen.

But what you leave out is that there is evidence that has been confirmed that the Democrats were right, while no evidence exists that confirms Republicans are right.

The only reason you are leaving that out is because you want to exacerbate hyperbolic partisanship so you can appear better, when the reality is that you're just a fucking lazy sophist.

What you're doing is what you always do; you deliberately leave out exculpatory evidence that completely changes what you're saying.

That's one of your bad habits; lying by omission.

You get so far off topic you no longer make sense. If Democrats won in 2016 and Republicans accused them of cheating and Republicans won in 2020 and Democrats accused them of cheating, my point would be the same.

Partisanship is so strong we are willing to believe anything our party says to support their views and actions and we believe anything negative our party says about the other. For you to call this "false equivalence" proves my point.

You are simply arguing your side is right to accuse Republicans of cheating in 2016 and Republicans are wrong to accuse Democrats of cheating in 2020.

What you can't grasp is that it doesn't matter which side was right because that is a separate discussion entirely. The point is we believe our side is morally superior and smarter than the other side and they believe the same thing.

I understand your argument about why you think your side is right, but that only proves my point. You would believe that even if it were not true.

I didn't leave out any exculpatory evidence because I presented no evidence to support or attack either side because my topic was public opinion regarding our own party. We are blind about our side (right or not) and even the most informed of us have major misconceptions about the other party. Recent studies also show we are less likely to know about recent news which is negative about our party.

Uh-huh...

Problem is, the beliefs of one side were validated and the beliefs of the other side weren't.

The point is that both sides believe their side even when the facts do not validate their claims.

Surely you are familiar with the Democratic claims that Kerry won Ohio in 2004 and therefore actually won the election. They made the lame claim about "voting machines" and that the exit polls did not match the election results.

There was no validity to their claims but they believed it anyway; or, claimed they did for sake of scoring points for their side against the Republicans.

That is what is called BoThsIdEs.

So you can't refute anything he posted, so you just name call, and lie, got it! That was not an insurrection!

We agree, but it means little unless/until the Left is obliged to acknowledge Trump's win.

I couldn't care less what treasonous terrorists acknowledge. Just that they are forced to live under the government that was actually elected, instead of under the Democrat traitors who overthrew the American people.

:dunno:

Dear fucking idiot

He is putins tool you asshole

He was not smart enough to be a Russian agent

The entire American intel system said so and still do

There is decades of court records all the way to the SCOTUS that proves with FACTS that the Republican Party has cheated in elections for decades

You have not one scintilla of proof the 2020 election was stolen ass drip

You are the Russian “agent”

You are a shit bag Russian bot hole

My best advice for you is to tell your programmer that Putin is about to destroy the Russians peoples lives by his actions

A whole lot of Russians are going to starve to death under the sanctions putins actions will reap

giphy.gif

Kill Putin

Dump his dead limp ass in one of those holes in Siberia

Then try and create a REAL Nation

We have no interest in Putin staying in power, which is to be expected, seeing as how Democrats are the only ones who actually colluded with Russia, to stage the collusion hoax in the first place. :dunno:
