Certainly a possibility. OTOH, what "whiff" did you get from Witold? He's not a native Pole yet can there be any doubt he's immersed in the worst of Polish culture and has publicly opined a fervent desire to abandon the US and immigrate to Poland?

Unlike Western Europeans, and Russians, Poles tend to not be so submissive & subservient.
Poles are an amazing people.
Many ideals that you consider American, came from Poles, first.
For example, Freedom of Religion, came from the Warsaw Confederation in the 1500's.
A lot of freedom & equality ideals, came from Pole Goslicki.
As for, Poles.
They saved the Ashkenazi Jews from extinction, by accepting their refugees.
They were the first to really fight the Nazi Germans in WW2.
Warned the World about the Holocaust, with Jan Karski, Witold Pilecki, Korbonski & Raczynski's note.
They had the highest number of Righteous Among the Nations, risk their lives, to save Holocaust victim Jews.
Poles formed Zegota to aid Holocaust victim Jews.
Then, again at the same time, Poles were for barring Jews from positions of power in Europe & from government jobs in the 1930's & agian in the 1960's.
Which in both cases, I support.
