PA-18 results thread

I can walk you through every decade since the inception of this country, and the following is an indisputable truth: progressive thought has always prevailed.

progress has prevailed......that's what makes it progress instead of defeat.......demmycrats haven't done much except fuck up the country.......

I'm kind of surprised we didn't get an early a.m. tweetstorm about what a loser this GOP candidate was and how he failed to fully embrace Trump or something.

Maybe Trump is maturing?

Hello Thing1,

-Laughter-

-cleaning up the keyboard-

If Donald Trump hasn't grown up by now it would appear to be highly improbable that would ever occur.

For sure - if anything, he's regressing.

Still, it does surprise me that he hasn't tweeted about it yet. Maybe he's hoping they pull 700 votes out somewhere, or waiting for the recount before blaming the candidate.

You didn't answer any of my questions.

First, the election isn't officially called yet. Would I rather be in Lamb's shoes? You betcha. But, it isn't over yet.

Secondly, this election proves that conservative democrats are the only way your party can win in many parts of this country. The kind of democrats that your Bernie Sanders wing purged.

Now if you can't see that, then it is on you.

Why dont you try and tell the whole, complete story.

Lamb also ran a staunchly pro-union, pro-Obamacare and anti-GOP tax bill race, or that Lamb has said publicly that he will not vote for abortion restrictions favored by Republicans

EVERYTHING!

Nope...and that doesn't matter one bit. It was about Donald Trump...and the Republican Party.

Yeah...that's why you are in such a snit.

Gimme a break.

This, and the others, were about Donald Trump. I AM heartened to know that even people in areas that voted for Trump see him as an insult to our nation.

I understand. Really I do.

Just continue to keep your eyes tightly shut...and your mind as well...and you will never see any of those things.

Dems voted for a Trump acolyte.

How is that a talking point?

The district has been eliminated by the court. It doesn’t negate what happened last night, but it is a fact.

Also, how does show a resurgence of liberalism?

On the basis of these results, should the GOP run out and oppose Trump’s tariffs? Push gun control?

I know you liberals are happy, and you should be. But you all seem to be singularly focused on the capital D behind his name and not the policies he claims to support.

For crying out loud, he is as pro life as you are allowed to be in the democrat party.

I know you kids who like to play Big Injun Little Injun are thumping your chests, I don’t see this as a defeat of the issues I think are important.

Lamb is pro 2nd Amendment
Lamb is pro Trump tariffs
Lamb is pro life
Lamb said the democrat party needs new leadership meaning he didn’t support Nancy Pelosi
Lamb didn’t run on Russian Collusion or impeachment

Does he mean these things and will he vote accordingly or was he lying? Time will tell and hopefully voters will be paying attention.

So take the D away from his name and there isn’t one JPP lefty that would have voted for this guy and a number of JPP righty’s what would have.

If anything this election was a complete repudiation of the Hillary Clinton campaign and how she ran it.

Whoooooweeeee!

You have to be dizzy from all that spinning.

This is why you lefties get so many things wrong

I give you next level deep political analysis and this is the best you can come up with?

Let me ask you, would you vote for Lamb knowing he is Pro Life?

In The Exorcist, Linda Blair’s head didn’t spin as much as yours.

lol

It is less than 600 votes and over a thousand absentee ballots still need to be counted. Who do you think is more likely to vote absentee? whiny loser liberals or busy working Republicans?

I guess in your euphoria, you and your fellow libs are missing the larger point I am making and your teeny tiny, unevolved political minds can only grasp Democrat won; Republican lost.

All I am saying, which is too difficult for you to grasp is that if Lamb votes according to his positions, I have another Pro gun/Pro Life vote in the House of Representatives. Why should I be upset about that?

I am no longer a Republican. I care about policy positions.

I didn't follow the race very closely, but I did listen to Lamb on PMSNBC this morning and he is a pretty vanilla fella.

Other than a democrat won, I am failing to see the all repudiation of conservatism, but hey if you feel good that is all that matters.

Have a blessed day

He caucuses with the Dems, moron.

Look at it this way. One seat closer to impeachment.

I don't have to think back too far to when you guys didn't like "RINO's". I think one poster just referenced earlier in this thread about how Congressional Republicans are mostly under that category.

But conservatism is winning.

Yeah, we don't want to have far left fringe rinos.

I didn't expect the desperation from the right to be so obvious today.

Ironic that you don't think it is the left who is desperate and clinging to anything that might support their false narratives. But alas, you never were very good with facts or thinking for yourself. :rofl2:

This is it!!! :rofl2:
