President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng to the White House

I'm disappointed in those Americans who try to mock this historic meeting, which is a positive thing. No matter how much you oppose Trump, he is still the President of the United States, he represents America, and the diplomatic work he is doing now serves America's national interest.

“The meal begins with a toast of Schramsberg ‘Blanc De Noir,’ honoring the historic ‘Toast to Peace’ shared by President Nixon and Premier Zhou Enlai in Beijing in 1972. The same American sparkling wine served at that historic gathering continues to be enjoyed at White House functions today,” the White House said.

The first course consists of yellow squash velouté and a wild mushroom fricassée, complemented by crispy pancetta and topped with a drizzle of scallion oil.

That is followed by sesame-crusted sea bass, served with braised baby bok choy and roasted eggplant, finished with sauce vert.

For dessert, the menu calls for a vanilla crémeux with a sour cherry confit center atop a walnut frangiapane and served with White House Honey ice cream on the side.

“There is a lot of details that comes in to plan the state dinner,” the first lady told “Fox & Friends” Wednesday morning. “There is protocol that you need to follow. Every detail I was involved [in] from tomorrow.”

Again I point out that it is highly unlikely that you are Chinese.
 
This is not historic and it will almost certainly not be productive.....the Chinese are doing exactly what the Russians are doing....playing nice.....going through the motions as the Empire crumbles..... hoping that the dying Empire does not incinerate humanity on the way out.

"The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and making America great again can go hand in hand" — this is a serious statement from the Chinese government, and you shouldn't treat it as some casual remark.

America has long rejected that invitation, it demands that the Empire be revived and it is trying to do it by brutalizing the rest of the people of the world....Hell we are even doing to Europe.....which is insane.

Multiple people on my grapevine regularly go to Russia...what they say is "Sure the Russians say come and talk anytime you want" but just about no one in Russia still thinks this will amount to anything.....the Americans have zero interest in peace.....they think that constant war is the ticket.

As they show up with a military many decades out of date, Generals who have no idea what they are doing, an industrial complex that mostly does not function, ruinous debt and a society that is coming apart.

Chinese and the Russians are blood brothers....they are united on this.

All of this is about the post-WWII international order. It's based on World War II, and in that fight, China, America, and Russia all made huge sacrifices. A big part of the world order we live in today comes from that. Now some people are trying to undermine the foundation of this order. This is the real threat, and it's far more dangerous than something like the Iran war — or the "conflict," as Americans call it. So if the U.S. government is rational and pragmatic enough, you should be seeing more diplomatic efforts around this issue. Let me put it simply: Americans need to understand who America's real allies are, otherwise you could easily drag America into a war. There are plenty of countries in this world that want to see America stuck in that kind of war.

No....not after watching the Russians and the formerly very pro West Putin get constantly brutalized after many many many attempts to both join the West and be friendly with the West, as Putin say that believing in the West was his biggest mistake....the Chinese are not stupid.

Then there are the constant Empire attempts to destabilize and militarize against China its neighborhood.

You are not credible as a Chinese.....you look 100% look like an Empire stooge pretending to be Chinese.
