Religion Is A Sickness

And a lot of conservatives and Christians said that liberals and leftists should be purged.

well I disagree , but many liberals do need bitch slapped, none of my friends think liberals need purged , or put in re education camps or need ethnic cleansing like liberals have said.

American citizens they be

There are few posters here who want to see them purged.

you dont get it do you dummy your just to dam stupid to understand such little things as honor your mother and father and how that applys to American culture , did you even reqd what I said dumb ass

"Honor your mother and father" is an American culture thing?

Dude, you need to wait til 5 to hit the sauce.

It's definitely sad, as is your bizarre conclusion that "religion is a sickness."

Condemning intolerance works better when it doesn't wrap itself up with intolerance, especially as the Democrats seek to purge all Wrongthink.

Don't be a Good Democrat, APL.

Religion is a sickness. It's a delusion wherein adherents believe fantasy is fact. Taken to its extreme, it results in planes going into buildings, and attacks on the Capitol.

Reason #217 on why your "legal career" is not what you claim it to be. You can't read a statement without fantasizing what you want it to be.

Bob probably has a bit of dementia going on. What's your excuse, "counselor"?

Uh, wanna explain what was wrong with my question, stupid?

The fact you think anyone who believes "Honor your mother and father" is deeply ingrained in American culture means the person is drunk.

Oh I see. You didn't read and/or understand my post.

No, "honor thy father and mother" is not codified in any U.S. law. Samoa Law School (nights) taught me that. I wonder why it took a message board to teach you and the drunkard that.

I did read and understand your post. Your problem is a lack of honesty and forum debating skills. A noted weakness at your alma mater.

Correct, junior lawyer, that it's not codified in law. That's not what is being discussed. All of Western law has Christian precepts in it. Be honest and admit it. We can also admit that it's irrelevant since we also have a separation of Church and State. Not as clearly codified, but it's been upheld by SCOTUS.

you are indeed right most of our laws have a christian perspective to them.

The funny part is that the Bible instructs to stone children to death for not honoring their parents. :rofl2:

^^ Levtitcus. I never understood why some people get mad at Christians for what Jews wrote in the Tanakh, aka Hebrew Bible, i.e. Old Testament.

Leviticus is old Jewish Law, and Christians under the new covenent of the NT are not required to follow, obey, or live by Jewish law written in Levtitcus. Paul made it crystal clear that Christians do not have to follow or obey Jewish Law. To the extent mainstream Christians revere the old Testament, it is mainly for it's perceived prophetic statements foreshadowing the coming of the Christ.

yes to hnor your mother and father is just as our money has the words on it in god we trust .
Which we didn't put on our money until 1954.

EVERY culture on earth has preached "honor your father and mother", and likely been far more successful at it.

...do you know when the US motto changed from E Pluribus Unum to "In God We Trust"* and the reason?

*why didn't you have the respect to capitalize the motto as appropriate?
