Renee Good's family sues Trump administration over fatal Minneapolis shooting

I actually agree here. She was not deliberately trying to run him over. She wanted to get the hell out of Dodge so to speak. She likely didn't even really see him, just stomped on the gas and went to run away as fast as she could. The problem was, she did it after the ICE agents engaged and had detained--by their giving commands--to her.

It is during what was turning into a potential felony traffic stop where the suspect becomes violent. In this case, the officer that fired likely thought he was going to get hit by the vehicle and defended himself.

It was all a tragic scenario that Renee Goode brought on herself by wanting to be edgy and egg on the ICE agents. Her 'partner' probably reinforced that along with Leftist stuff on social media and the internet. This was Goode's trainwreck start to finish. Going there and blocking the ICE agents in a 'Contempt of cop' scenario is not a brilliant idea, regardless of what you, or I, think of ICE as an agency.
None of that gives ICE agents the legal authority to kill her.

For our two ICE loving comrades. If you were the guy with the gun as she is moving away from you. Do you put 3 shots into her also?
I don't expect an honest answer. We saw her moving away from the killer,. Do you kill her too, in that same moment?
If I saw her try to drive forward under full acceleration towards me, more or less, and one of the cops I was working with was now hanging onto her driver's door as she pulled away, yes, there's a good chance I'd fire to 'stop the action' and the felonies in progress.

That's really a mischaracterization.

We've all seen the footage a lot at this point. The car barely touched him, and she was clearly NOT trying to hit him. It would have likely taken much less effort for the agent to move out of the way than to pull his gun and shoot.

His life wasn't in any danger.

And, btw, you have a pretty big double standard when it comes to this and the J6 shooting.

Try to make that decision in less than a second.

Jan 6 was completely different.

The one on Jan 6? Yes. There's video. He had many seconds to decide on a course of action. He also chose to leave the scene immediately after shooting Babbitt.

He didn't have "many seconds" when the mob started advancing through the broken window. Leaving the scene has no bearing on the action itself.

Do you think an advancing mob could be seen as any kind of threat?

And in terms of the ICE agent not having enough time - a regular person's instinctual reaction would be to jump to the side. It likely wouldn't be to pull a gun out of a holster, aim & fire.

Yes, he did. Watch the video. Aside from that, it was a single person climbing through the window, not a "mob."

The bulk of the protesters present weren't particularly breaking though that doorway. That aside, there were at least 6 capitol police mixed in with the them and they weren't attacking those cops.

More second guessing mixed with a No True Scotsman. An ICE agent, particularly one that has already been in a similar situation on duty is not a "regular person" in that situation. He is a trained law enforcement officer and has experience with the situation. I'd expect a regular person to as readily freeze in confusion as jump out of the way.

She wasn't with a mob? That's news to me.

The 2nd point is moot. There is no way for a cop on the other side of the window to determine that.

I know what I see when I watch that video of the car pulling away.

I knew I would not get a straight answer. It was all IF SHE blah blah............I asked what would they do if she was doing EXACTLY what they saw......murder by his gestapo on an American street and SHE became the terrorist.........the day this fascist regime is gone will see celebrations like never seen before (to use the words of a moron he uses them so often)
