Hostages is hyperbolic. They were, however, well at least a good number of them, illegally held without bail or release from pre-trail holding. Many were prosecuted where the prosecution withheld evidence that was damaging to their case. Buffalo man, whatever his name is, is an example of that. Once all the surveillance footage was released, his charges and conviction were overturned, as but one high profile example.
So, yes, you did same something incorrect there in that you made it out that Trump was wrong in taking those actions without exception.
So? If there were hundreds of cases where the prosecution likely withheld evidence, colluded with judges to hold persons in custody without bail, and there were, I'd say it is more justified than not.Trump gave a blanket pardon. No idea what you're even saying w/ that last line. I can't even classify that as weak apologism - it's nonsensical.

To use a typical quote of the Left when it comes to crime and punishment today.
Most conservatives I've seen opposed that blanket pardon. And you think it's more justified than not.
I'm not one of them. Trump does dumb stuff, but not 100% of what he does is bad, evil, insane, or negative. That's fascinating.
There is just something about Trump. Once people start supporting him, they're all in. All in.
^ LIE.She interfered.
She and her partner were causing the ICE agents to stop what they were doing and deal with the pair instead. Standing on the sidewalk and protesting loudly would have been fine. But they chose to block traffic--and it doesn't matter if that was in whole or part--and then get at least 4 agents engaging with them.
Good caused the situation 100%. It is totally her fault for initiating the illegal actions she did that resulted in that shooting.
And i want to expose the total hypocrisy of Terry here. She interfered.

When it comes to Ashley Babbitt, where there is no question she and other Jan6th insurrectionist magats were significantly impacting both the Congress and the Capital Police and the other law enforcement tasked with protecting the key Congress people, Terry says nothing Ashley did in impacting or blocking them, forcing them into constant strategic retreat, and backing law makers and security into whatever they could fortify as a protection zone...
... that nothing Ashley did in ignore commands to stop... to not breach the secure zone any further, in blocking the means of exit they might want to take...
None of that matters. The cop who shot Ashley is 100% to blame and had no justification in shooting her, as per Terry.
The above is an open and shut case of clear obstruction, coupled with mob ongoing violence, and an attempt to make a secured area unsecured with magats flowing into it and so outnumbering the security that the Congress people they were protecting are then surrendered to the mob for whatever they choose to do with them.
So no one should take Terry seriously as his only position is partisan spin no matter how ridiculous.
Terry is a top Trump cultist with the most extreme TDS.Most conservatives I've seen opposed that blanket pardon. And you think it's more justified than not.
That's fascinating.

^ LIE.
A protester in a town square you or ICE has to walk past, is NOT forcing ICE or anyone else to engage them just because they are blocking one potential path across the square, when others paths are easily accessed.
You are pushing a false premise that ICE must use the space they are in and cannot simply use the space not occupied.
It is up to law enforcement at the scene to control and keep that scene safe and ensure everyone present is acting legally. Good was doing unsafe acts that were illegal.it is up to city law enforcement and not ICE or the FBI or other Federal agencies who have no jurisdiction for such matters to deal with it.
And i want to expose the total hypocrisy of Terry here.

This is some simple shit. Provide a single still from any of those videos showing her blocking both lanes of traffic.
I have provided multiple pictures showing she wasn't blocking both lanes. Support your claim or admit you are in a cult.
Then provide the still proving that. Or link to the video and tell us the time stamp when you think that occurred. Failure to support your claim will prove you are in a cult.
One small problem with that is that there is a little thing called the first amendment. ICE-Out is not an insurrection.
Car horns are not a dangerous weapon. If they were every car manufacturer would be sued out of existence. Claiming car horns are dangerous proves you are either an idiot or deep in a cult or more likely, both.
OMFG. It's a f-ing one way street with no median. Please point out this imaginary median in the google satellite of the street.
It is from left to right - parking - bike lane with 2 painted buffer zones, traffic lane 1, traffic lane 2, parking.
It is Portland Ave S. The Renee Good memorial is located on Google at 3343 Portland Ave S in Minneapolis.

You are delusional.
ROFLMAO. Ow... the irony is painful.

That you call them "insurrectionists" destroys your argument entirely. That 3-hour riot had no impact on anything other than give the Left--YOU--a perpetual excuse for Leftist behavior. It's telling that Leftists always circle back to Jan 6 as their sole example of the Right having a violent riot while ignoring the dozens, if not hundreds, of examples of their own violent rioting.
Byrd issued no commands. There's audio and video of that. Byrd made no--ZERO--attempt to actually interact with Babbitt. Further, after he shot her, he fled the scene. If what was happening there was so dangerous and hostile, why didn't he stay and assist the half-dozen officers mixed in with the rioters?
No, he wasn't. With Good, the officer had to make a near instantaneous decision on a course of action based on immediate events.
No, it's not. The six officers mixed in with the rioters show your version to be a lie. None of those officers, right there where Babbitt was were beaten, attacked, or otherwise physically harmed by the rioters. If it was the intent of the mob, they could have overwhelmed those officers, taken their weapons, and continued into the building. But they didn't.
Byrd, a long time incompetent, used shitty, poor, judgement.
Not false. You just are wrong as always.False analogy. A protester that blocks the sidewalk deliberately to force the officer or anyone to go around them is interfering.
I am stating that if ICE has to avoid, go around, or otherwise deal with a protester who is blocking their way, in part, that constitutes interference.
It is up to law enforcement at the scene to control and keep that scene safe and ensure everyone present is acting legally. Good was doing unsafe acts that were illegal.
I did look at where the car is parked and as I pointed out in time stamped breakdown of the video. At no time in the video was she blocking both lanes of traffic. At this point it seems you are claiming the lane is blocked if she is even an inch into the lane. I circled the dividing line. The white vehicle is in the driving lane and will have no problem passing her.I don't care what you "asked for". I showed you a VIDEO of her car parked fully blocking one lane, and partly blocking another, TO IMPEDE ICE AGENTS, while she was honking her horn like an idiot.
Just look at the video, and look where her car is parked. If you hear a horn honking, look - where - the - car - is - parked.

So lets stick to just that. That you call them "insurrectionists" destroys your argument entirely. That 3-hour riot had no impact on anything other than give the Left--YOU--a perpetual excuse for Leftist behavior. ...
There is the actions of the rioters, even at the time. There was no way for the officers to know what the mob intended. What a poor point that is.

That bottom picture was taken a minute or two before Babbitt climbed through the window on the right of it. See the two officers standing there? There's another officer further up the hallway in the background.
Are you telling me that that mob of protesters couldn't have overwhelmed those officers in a heartbeat and continued forward? Because they didn't overwhelm the officers and continue forward. Yes, Babbitt climbed through that window into an empty hallway where there were at least 3 officers present.
Byrd was an incompetent and acted stupidly out of fear--something even he admitted later (the fear part).
A mob beating cops outside viciously. A mob who brought gallows as a symbol of what they wanted to do and guns so they could execute. There was no way for the officers to know what the mob intended. What a poor point that is.
