the LAST THING we need is a US presence! enough of the interventionism!
Yes the civil war(s) have been going on since the 1960's in one way or the other.
Vietnam was carpet bombing as well - my point is KSA has a tiger by the tail, but it can't just let go either.
If the fvcking Iranians would quit supplying da rebels.. but they are insufferable hegemons.
I'm a lot more worried about Iranian expansionism then what happens in Yemen, as dreadful as it it

We're already there. Do you think the US is going to surrender the access to the Suez Canal to an unfriendly regime?
"Yes the civil war(s) have been going on since the 1960's in one way or the other."
Yes. It was labeled as the 'Communist' North vs. the Capitalist South. At least back then, the British patrolled the streets.

Well, that's why Uncle Sugar is running things. With a Hostile Group controlling the sea lanes to the Suez Canal, the oil tankers could be sunk, detained, commandeered, confiscated or prevented from transiting the Canal, ... which would raise prices at the pump. So the extermination of a few million people obviously, is more important then you or me having to pay an extra nickel or dime at the pump.
I gotta go. Nice talking to everybody.
