we've let women in the clubhouse and as anyone could predict they've ruined everything. we were fine without them. now they can get anyone fired with the threat of crocodile tears.

Bullshit. How many times have you seen Toxic Top attack women for accusing guys of rape/assault? That's precisely why so many people who have been attacked don't say anything. And by people, I mean both males and females. It's even worse for guys, really, who have been sexually harassed and/or assaulted.

I can't speak for other liberals, but I tend to err on the side of the person who states that he or she was assaulted until proven otherwise. Yep, it's the opposition of "innocent until proven guilty." But there you go. I have no reason to doubt the women who have accused Weinstein and Conyers.... particularly not when it isn't just one instance but dozens. I also have no reason to doubt the women who have accused Gropingfuehrer or Moore.

As someone else pointed out, above, there is no "due process" when it comes to an employer-employee situation. If the allegations become a criminal matter then of course due process and evidence and the rest of the legal machinery must be set in motion before "punishment" can be meted out.
