Surely you're not comparing same sex marriage with a woman's control over her own body?
Her's is not the only body on the equation.
But aside from that, what makes it non comparable ?

Go for it! There is nothing I'd like to see more than republicans try and pass laws that practically all women and 70% of the rest of the population are against.
Not just the democratic base but all those independents who find the law disgusting.
They not only tried...….they did it. Its a states right issue. If 70% of any state wants to deal in death to children under the guise of privacy....go for it. But don't expect to cross any state lines where it has been made a crime once Roe. v. Wade has been turned back over to the states via the same method it came into existence (a court opinion).

Have you not heard about the legislation that has just taken place in the state of Alabama? They not only tried...….they did it. Its a states right issue. Then you must ask? What is the federal government going to do about this CONSTITUTIONAL crisis where some states make abortion legal and some states declare it a crime? There will have to be new laws based upon SCOTUS declarations at the federal level....making the law the same in all states. What will that act of legislation declare? Depends upon who holds the power of the Senate and the Executive branch at that time.![]()

How dopey. So if the Alabama legislature enacts a law allowing slavery you'd support it?
Except noone is killing babies.
Since about 70% of the country is pro-choice I like to see the repubs do stupid shit like this. This is the sort of thing that will disgust even repubs enough to vote for the democrat.
You must have been drunk when you typed this. Hope you weren't driving.
How about this... for every woman who is forced to carry to term, the partner has to be irreversibly sterilized.

The Alabama law is in direct contradiction to the constitution and will be shot down by numerous courts long before it takes effect in Alabama. It will however cause many across the country who find this push to outlaw abortion disgusting and cause them to vote for anyone who feels likewise, like democrats.
Stoning isn’t mentioned in Georgia’s law.Stoning is rare but it is the punishment for both men and women in some Muslim countries. When is the last time a man was stoned? Their laws are applied against women just like Georgia's are. Trump should get stoned.
Pretty sure sterilization is always irreversible.
