Sharia Law or Alabama?

A woman is raped and becomes pregnant with the rapist’s baby, the Doctor finds that the embryo is not viable and will pose a risk of death to the mother.....

Is this Alabama or Islamabad? Sharia law or Fundamentalist Christian Law?

I fail to see the difference. Except Muslim women tend to be better dressed.

The white male strikes again...……..how is this oppressing him?

Every Vote For Alabama’s Abortion Ban Was From A White Man.

The Alabama state Senate just passed the country’s strictest abortion ban, which criminalizes nearly all abortions including in cases of rape and incest.

“These 25 men, who will never be pregnant, just legislated more rights to rapists than to women, girls & victims of rape/incest,” Nahanni Fontaine, a member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba in Canada, tweeted Wednesday alongside an image of the state senators.
The Human Life Protection Act, passed Tuesday night, is an extreme anti-abortion measure that bans the procedure in all cases, including rape and incest. The only exception to the legislation is if the life of a pregnant woman is at risk. If Gov. Kay Ivey (R) signs the bill into law, performing an abortion procedure would become a felony offense punishable by a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison. Ivey has not publicly stated whether she will sign the bill.

The legislation would go into effect within six months of the governor’s signature. Of the 27 Republicans in the state Senate, 25 voted to pass the bill and two did not vote. Amendments introduced by the state’s only four female senators were all dismissed.

How exactly does a woman you don't know, never seen or even care about effect you or you're familes life when she has an abortion?

Be specific.

If she is not married, or married and having illicit sex, then she'd be stoned to death in many Muslim countries.
There are 50 majority Muslim Countries in the world. 8 of those have "Death by Stoning" penalties for adultery, promiscuity and apostasy on paper. Of those 8 nations, only three, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran have stoning laws that are actually enforced. Those three nations represent less than 10% of the Worlds Muslim population. I did exclude Somalia as there have been extrajudicial stonings there but Somalia essentially does not have a central government.

So it's is a gross exaggeration to even imply that stoning as a judicial penalty is supported by the vast majority of Muslim Nations.

So that brings us back to Jarods analogy of very backward western regions, like Alabama and Iran. It's not that far fetched. Both regions are politically dominated by the ignorant Bubba class.

Example? Where? Who? You don't think this Alabama Sharia Law will be in the Courtrooms?

Strawman much? I didn't say they "had it"...I said THEY WANT IT...and there are countless examples....and they have elected representative to the US HOUSE:

"In the landmark 2010 pro-Sharia ruling on S.D. v. M.J.R., Judge Joseph Charles Jr. of New Jersey concluded that the Muslim ex-husband repeatedly had raped (see Taharrush) his Muslim ex-wife. After testimony from the Muslim man's imam, the judge denied the ex-wife's request for a permanent restraining order against her ex-husband, citing the Muslim man's "belief."

Well you can add Brunei to that list. Ok, so a slight exaggeration, they might just execute instead by the sword, hanging or firing squad. The more lenient will only impose a couple of hundred lashings because they are so compassionate. Notwithstanding that Alabama is not a nice place to get knocked up, how hard is it to go to a neighbouring state to get an abortion. After all, women in Ireland have been coming to England for abortions since the 70s. Anyway there is a big difference between Muslim majority countries and Islamic republics. If you only count the latter then my original statement holds true.

My fundamentalist religion trumps your right to freedom. It’s the same if it’s Islam or Christianity.
