No Sir, I got laid-off along with 25,000 other workers in a corporate wide world wide layoff. Anyone over 50 were advised to take a bridge to retirement or risk getting laid off! So I just bridged to their retirement offer like everyone else. THEN I WENT AND GOT ME A REAL JOB! LOL!

Dude they laid me off because they didn't want to pay people like me $100k + when they could just hire 12B visa applicants at 15 bucks an hour and pay for their educations to do the very same job.

It's OK, I moved on and found better opportunities anyway and never looked back! It was their loss not mine!

The states cannot set the number of justices on the Supreme Court because that is the function of Congress.

However, according to you ONLY the states have the power to change the Constitution. If you were correct they could set the number of SC justices, but that is an incorrect description of their power.

The number of judges on the supreme court is not specified in the Constitution.

The reference to the state court expansions was just to illustrate Republicans as well as Democrats are willing to "pack" the courts.

Nope. Adjusting the number of judges on a court is not packing when it's done according to that constitution.

The Constitution has no such limit. The States can change the Constitution WITHOUT any federal involvement at all.

I have never read anywhere in the Constitution where we should be treating Supreme Court Justices like Supreme Beings. These people are not GODS! THEY ARE NOT SAINTS. THEY ARE HUMANS AND HUMANS TEND TO ERR and CAN BECOME SOME OF THE WORST AND DANGEROUS LIVING BEINGS ON THIS PLANET!

Now that we have set the bar so low as to appoint RELIGIOUS Zealots and POLITICAL HACKS to become Judges and give them lifetime appointments to the court- WE LOOK MORE LIKE IRAN THAN AMERICA.

NOW I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANY MORE LIFETIME APPOINTMENTS! NO ONE SHOULD BE SERVING OVER 4 YEARS CONCURRENTLY FOR ANY POLITICAL POSITION IN THIS COUNTRY.

Getting politicians is the easy part- IT's THE GETTING RID OF THE BAD EXAMPLES THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

There is no term limit on a supreme court judge. They are appointed by the President and approved by the Senate. If you want to impose term limits, the best course would be to get your State to introduce such an amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
