The Deplorable Blue Collars, truckers, farmers, smelly Walmarters & bitter clingers

You think austerity is a virtue because at some point along the way, someone told you that you're worthless without a job, and you believed them because your compulsion is to not question authority.

Made up lie. I don't think a person is worthless because they don't work--only if they expect government to give them money.

You are the one who wants bigger government, more regulation, and more taxes. That makes you a slave to authority.

I'm not a Republican---simplistic assumption on your part. But I haven't seen Republicans cut any of those programs--they continue to grow regardless of the party in power.

You think like a Republican.

With 20% less wages for Millennials at the same age as Boomers.

What's to expect for social programs to decline in use?

At some point in your life, someone (likely an authority figure) abused you into thinking that your only value in this world comes from your labor, and you believed them when they said that because you were too scared to confront them on it.

Erroneous projection based on a binary view of people and their political views, values, and motivations.

I don't work and I value myself just as much as I did before I retired. And I like it more although I loved my job and miss my students.

How are lack of regulations working out with Illegals & Outsourced Jobs?

While you don't give to charities because you want government to take the money from people who make more than you do. That is pure laziness. Your effort to help others is limited to ranting on political forums.

Shut the fuck up, Flash...you're the one here who is tying people's worth to their labor, which is what slavery was.

Try libertarian.

What people think and what they do are not always the same.

Americans are described as "ideologically conservative and operationally liberal." That describes Republicans and is not at all what I think.

BS. What program paid people from their stock market losses?

The Federal Reserve's discount window, since most of those wealthy people have their wealth tied in the value of the companies they own and control. So when Goldman gets a bailout, so does LLoyd Blankfein. When JP Morgan gets a no- or low-interest loan not available to people, Jamie Dimon gets a no- or low-interest loan.

Did only wealthy people get reimbursed or all the 95 million Americans in the market? I didn't get any of that money.

Just the wealthy.

Most were made whole when the market gained back all its losses and more.

They weren't made whole, they took the money for themselves and doubled their wealth.

Thank God we weren't Libertarian during the Cold War.

Russia could have sent millions of illegals with Muskets to defeat us.

You confuse facts with partisan sentiment. It is not a "defense" (or attack) on anybody to say they lost the most in the stock market crash.

Yes it is because who fucking gives a shit about billionaires except for those who lionize them?

However, unlike you, I don't wish ill on anybody. I'm not the one who called for people to die or be killed. That is empathy?

Look, man, I listened to them for 8 years during Obama...I watched them break the norms and impose their fascism during Trump.

If you don't think people who kidnap children are evil bastards, then something is wrong with you.

Erroneous projection based on a binary view of people and their political views, values, and motivations.

Pedantic pompous and judgmental based on a deplorable smelly trucker farmer Walmart midcentury zeitgeist.

anyone can do this!

How are lack of regulations working out with Illegals & Outsourced Jobs?

There are regulations against illegal aliens entering the nation and holding jobs. The lack of regulations is not the issue.

Many businesses would not exist if they could not outsource. I know a guy who wanted his stuff built in America and refused to outsource until he almost lost his business. Now he outsources and has more American employees than previously because they market his products. That is a net benefit to the business and the U. S.

Well, Flash, what have 3 years of the Conservatism you wanted and voted for done for you now, as you sit at home in lockdown?

Was it worth it?

You are the one who wants bigger government, more regulation, and more taxes. That makes you a slave to authority.

You literally tie people's value to their labor and you say government makes you a slave to authority?

Yikes.

Erroneous projection based on a binary view of people and their political views, values, and motivations.

Flash, your entire argument here is about the value of someone's labor and whether you think they're "worth" the assistance.

Stop. Just stop.

Oh my god.
How did business survive before 1990.

Right, so because you don't work -and don't want to think of yourself as worthless because you don't work- you project those moral failings on people you have nothing to do with, have no contact with, and know nothing about.

The very definition of privilege.
