The Deplorable Blue Collars, truckers, farmers, smelly Walmarters & bitter clingers

There are regulations against illegal aliens entering the nation and holding jobs. The lack of regulations is not the issue.

Many businesses would not exist if they could not outsource. I know a guy who wanted his stuff built in America and refused to outsource until he almost lost his business. Now he outsources and has more American employees than previously because they market his products. That is a net benefit to the business and the U. S.

Flash believes the rich were put in concentration camps and discriminated against, clearly.

Some of their relatives were.
Up to 40% of CEOS have some kind of Jewish heritage.

Well, Flash, what have 3 years of the Conservatism you wanted and voted for done for you now, as you sit at home in lockdown?

Was it worth it?

More lies. There is nothing conservative about Trump and I did not vote for him (as I have told you many times but you continue to lie)

People are sitting home all over the world--many of them do not have "conservative" governments.

NY is among the worst--is it because New Yorkers voted Democratic?

Is that a negative thing?

It's a factual thing.

You didn't vote for Clinton, so whatever vote you cast was really a vote cast for Trump.

People are sitting home all over the world--many of them do not have "conservative" governments.

The worst hit ones do...like us, Italy, and the UK. Why do you think that is? Why do you think some governments handled this better than others, and what was the common theme among those that did handle it well?

NY is among the worst--is it because New Yorkers voted Democratic?

NY is only among the worst because most of the testing has been done there, and because NYC is the point of access for global travelers. The city space is also very small, and you can't help but run into people everywhere you go, particularly on the subways and busses. Having lived in NYC for 6 years, including during 9/11 and the 2003 blackout, most of the people who live there do so in very close proximity to their neighbors. Think about how many people touch elevator buttons in 10-story buildings every day...shit, every minute!

And the only reason NYC is taking the hit is because of the shitty response from Trump, who didn't take this seriously until the market started tanking.

But you do value them less, Flash, when you say some people don't deserve government assistance.

I do not value a person less because I don't want to give able-bodied adults money for not working.

I don't think I am helping a person who will likely spend it on drugs or alcohol. If they need food there are many shelters or other organizations providing it.

I don't favor giving Bill Gates my tax money, either. It is not because I value him less.

Even if that were true that outsourcing is good for American workers.

Which is clearly not the case.

The countries we outsource are enemies.
We are building them up.

Its a threat to national security.

So you are quite clearly making an assumption here that someone who you think is "able bodied" based on a visual, bias-filled evaluation, will spend assistance on drugs and alcohol. And the reason you think that is because someone told you, many years ago, that is what those people are like.

So once again, you made an assumption after screeching endlessly at everyone, for doing the same.

I don't favor giving Bill Gates my tax money, either. It is not because I value him less.

But you do when you say his taxes should be lower. Him paying less taxes means you pay more for essential services.

You didn't vote for Clinton, so whatever vote you cast was really a vote cast for Trump.

BS. If I had voted for Clinton my state's electoral votes would have still gone to Trump.

Only if my vote made the difference in the state outcome would that be true.

I guess we'll never know because you thought you were making a good choice, along with millions of others, when you weren't.

Only if my vote made the difference in the state outcome would that be true.

Yeah, but Flash, the problem is that your conscience isn't cleared by making excuses like this. By saying you didn't vote for Clinton, the message you're sending is the same as those who voted for Trump; that you thought your status and privilege isolated you from the consequences of your choices, but now you have to re-evaluate that choice in the context of being stuck at home indefinitely.

If you had to do it all over again, would you vote for Clinton?

Flash, your entire argument here is about the value of someone's labor and whether you think they're "worth" the assistance.

Stop. Just stop.

More lies. There is nothing conservative about Trump and I did not vote for him (as I have told you many times but you continue to lie)

Its because NY has a ton of Chinese speaking tourists & immigrants.

Amazing they don't want to visit Oswley County, Kentucky who knew?

Erroneous partisan based evaluation.

The "someone" who told me that are sociologists, social workers, and other social scientists who do research on the homeless and because I used to volunteer at a homeless shelter.

Alcohol abuse is especially bad among veterans (45% in San Franciso). The last thing social workers would suggest is giving them cash. If they are hungry, buy them food.

Try reading some academic studies about the homeless (and not any partisan crap). Alcohol and drug abuse and mental problems are very common among the homeless.

Empathy is helping them--not giving them cash.

Is it alcohol and drug abuse, or is it mental problems? It's mental problems, isn't it? Wouldn't alcohol and drug abuse stem from mental problems, like addiction, depression, bipolar, etc?

Most academic studies I've read about homelessness cites mental illness as the cause.

You mistake austerity for virtue, which is not empathetic. It's just pathetic.

Empathy is helping them--not giving them cash.

Helping them by, say, giving everyone free health care, which is paid by taxes instead of directing them to some religious-based organization with alterior motives.

And SNAP isn't cash.

The "someone" who told me that are sociologists, social workers, and other social scientists who do research on the homeless and because I used to volunteer at a homeless shelter.

Well, you're not reading their reports fully because they all say the drug and alcohol abuse stems from mental illness...and you can only treat mental illness with health care, which you personally believe those people should pay for themselves because some billionaire you don't know pays taxes and you think that's unfair.

You're the one who opposes Medicare For All, which would get those people the health care they need.

So why do you hate those people so much that you don't want them to have health care?

LV426 any comments on post #306?

"OMG I NEED ACCOMMODATION RIGHT NOW, BEING WRONG ABOUT SOMETHING ONCE AND THEN USING A QUESTIONABLE SOURCE IN A REDO ATTEMPT #2."
-The subtext of your post.

I don't give a shit what you think the cost is to educate a student. I really, really don't fucking care. I don't care about the wrong and wild numbers you throw out initially...I don't care about the weird websites you use to retcon and walk back your shitty argument.

I just. Don't. Care.

 So YOU are the liar.:rofl2: The facts remain that educating illegal alien kids is VERY expensive and comes out of the average taxpayer's pocket. A family with 3 kids can cost an average of over 35K a year to a school system. But I know YOU don't care.

OH the source??? Source: 2016 Annual Survey of School System Finances, U.S. Census Bureau

First you threw out numbers that were wrong...then, instead of just abandoning the thread like you should have, you compelled yourself to continue by invoking a new questionable source, with different numbers, that does nothing to advance whatever stupid argument you were trying to make.

Just fucking kill yourself. Seriously. There's no purpose in you continuing on in this life.
