Shotguns would do a lot more damage and kill more. The Capital Gazette shooting was accomplished with a shotgun. We're fortunate that all these mass shooters are too ignorant to use shotguns. A Street Sweeper would probably boost the death toll and would certainly boost the number of injured.

You clearly have trouble understanding English. The 2nd Amendment doesn't require participation in a militia. It was intended to assure that the citizenry would be familiar with firearms, making them suitable for service in a militia. And I doubt that you know what "well regulated" actually means.

An AR-15 is only "military grade" in the delusions of ignoratti such as yourself. I don't believe that our military uses them even for training purposes. They aren't using shotguns instead because, fortunately, they're just as ignorant as you are.
