The Red Hen Reopens to Protesters and a Fully Booked Dining Room

I agree, I much prefer wild fish. I don't eat a lot of tilapia...maybe 5 or 6 portions a year. And, it's tough waiting all year for the wild salmon to come into season and be sold here in Florida at my local store. I'm lucky to have some neighbors who go over to the ocean once a month and come back with some red snapper, hog snapper and HOPEFULLY grouper! (My favorite)
I’ve never had grouper, I’ve heard it is wonderful. I love and miss halibut. I hope to bring some back to Houston.

I dear lady, am a woman aficionado. Truth be told the most interesting part of a woman to me is her brain and intellect. Do not get me wrong, I look other places..lol, but there is nothing better than intellect.

Well, hi there, Sailor. New in town? lol

Just for the halibut.

Hopefully, salmon, too.

Oh yes. A new Meijers store opened here in May; they have had some great sales since. Fresh sockeye salmon! Husband's been grilling it; it's amazing. Can't stand that farmed salmon; it's like eating fish-flavored paste or something. Ugh. Same with tilapia and swai.

That is really good eating. You going back to Alaska for a trip?

Yes, end of this month. Going to the Kenai to fish, and a friend has halibut for me. I’m a pathetic landlubber, so catching halibut doesn’t happen.

The FDA does not inspect restaurants, JC. Period.

SmarterThanFew is... well...you get the picture, I'm sure.

Technically true- but they do have a cooperative relationship with the state agencies that do. In other words, they set the standards and reporting requirements. It would not be impossible for them to influence state health inspectors to focus on a particular business.

No such thing as a landlubber. Just a beginning mariner. Get out there and wet a line!

That's not what SmarterThanFew suggested, is it, JC?
