Why would anyone deny it when it comes to the movements, within religions, that are represented by White Nationalism and fascism?
America was born fighting against such movements that seek to impose to a King, Dictator or Authority body that wants to demand how all US citizens should live and conform based on an 'elite' or 'authority body' who seeks the power to punish those who want to pursue their path 'life, liberty and happiness' in another way.
The variants of Christian Nationalism being pushed thru Evangelical and other channels is UNDENYABLY trying to recraft America into an 'Ethno-State' where if you try to live in America as anything other than a white Christian, you will be a second class citizen with less rights and likely jailed unless you conform of leave.
That RIGHTLY deserves hate from Americans, and only those who support the destruction of the Constitution and instead turning America into a Taliban Part 2 Country (Christian Nationalist version) would disagree.
But in fairness there is a 3rd group who might disagree and that is the poorly educated who are incapable of understanding the movement and wrongly and stupidly think it something more benign.

White Nationalism would systemically discriminate against anyone not white or Christian and weaponize govt and laws to punish and jail them.
It operates in the same way all national ethno states do by defining who is part of the 'in group' (white Christians) who get the benefits of the country they feel they own while other-wising and criminalizing everyone else.
