Again, agreed.I don't think any fair minded person can read this thread and conclude that I wrote UAA can't graduate students who go on to become competent engineers.

Graduates of Harvard find it impossible to compete in the real world? Some people in any group fail, but I have not noticed a huge number of Harvard graduates failing. In fact, I have noticed just the opposite. You missed the point again, as always, Never Right Walt.
A student can graduate from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX and with hard work and dedication can outperform an Ivy League graduate who’s apex in life was getting into a Harvard where everyone there gets an A or a fuck up gets a B in all courses and then find it almost impossible to compete in the real world.
Noticing a lot of Harvard graduates applying at the McDonald's you manage Walt? Nice to hear real world experience.Graduates of Harvard find it impossible to compete in the real world? Almost. You purposely left that out. ,The ones I worked side by side with struggled.Graduates of Harvard find it impossible to compete in the real world?
I seriously doubt you worked in close contact with them. Some people in any group fail, but I have not noticed a huge number of Harvard graduates failing. In fact, I have noticed just the opposite.
Walt really does not have to go any farther than Obamas daughter Malia. Harvard graduate. I will let him look it up and try to defend it. To make it easier for him, look up Malia Ann. She dropped her last name of Obama. On purpose.Almost. You purposely left that out. ,The ones I worked side by side with struggled.
Two were in the army where you have to commit treason to get fired.
I seriously doubt you worked in close contact with them.
And gubmint “jobs” don’t count as real world.
Harvard graduates probably struggle the least of any group in America.Almost. You purposely left that out. ,The ones I worked side by side with struggled.
The US Army works on a mandatory Up Or Out system, where you need to either get a promotion in a set amount of time, or you are fired. You can also be fired for not meeting physical standards, etc. Even most dishonorable discharges are not treason, any felony level conviction will suffice. Two were in the army where you have to commit treason to get fired.
My wife is a Harvard grad. I went Ivy League for graduate school. I have worked with many, many Harvard grads.I seriously doubt you worked in close contact with them.
Government tends to treat all school's degrees as equal, so undervalues Harvard degrees, while overvaluing the worst schools' degrees. Most diploma mills have high government employment for alumni. And gubmint “jobs” don’t count as real world.
She has a major writing credit, which is not bad. Other than that she is keeping out of public. She is obviously not starving.Walt really does not have to go any farther than Obamas daughter Malia. Harvard graduate
She did not want to lean on her family name when in Hollywood, like Nicholas Cage. She only uses her pen name for credits, and uses Obama for everything else. She dropped her last name of Obama. On purpose.
The current CEO of McDonald's, Kempczinski, has an MBA from Harvard. He is rather typical of a Harvard MBA, in that he got a few years very successful experience, and then went back for his MBA. It is always hard to tell whether the success is due to the selective nature of Harvard, or the great teaching of Harvard.Noticing a lot of Harvard graduates applying at the McDonald's you manage Walt? Nice to hear real world experience.
Walt. You are 100% out of touch with reality and 100% fucked in the head. And I am 100% sure of that.Harvard graduates probably struggle the least of any group in America.

I am beginning to question whether you were really an officer in the US Army. Up Or Out is very important to them, and would not be easily forgotten.

If Malia Obama is the worst that a Harvard grad can turn out, then it looks pretty good.

Education is just plain good. Almost all non-profit colleges are worth going to. You can get a good education at almost all of them. That being said, Harvard gives you a better leg up in life.Walt. You are 100% out of touch with reality and 100% fucked in the head. And I am 100% sure of that.
I did not say a Harvard degree did not used to be worth something. It is not now and it has been that way for quite a while.Education is just plain good. Or does it? A reasonable debate is whether Harvard is a sorter, or an educator. Maybe Harvard produces many of the best, because it accepts the best.
But this argument that everyone who goes to Harvard is a failure is just plain insane.
Is that so?Harvard graduates probably struggle the least of any group in America.
All army docs end up O-5 if they stay in long enuf regardless of how incompetent they are. Virtually none get 'fired'.The US Army works on a mandatory Up Or Out system, where you need to either get a promotion in a set amount of time, or you are fired.
You can also be fired for not meeting physical standards, etc.
OK, I left out murder.Even most dishonorable discharges are not treason, any felony level conviction will suffice.
You don't have to. I wasn't. I was a contractor hired to do what the army docs were too lazy to do.I am beginning to question whether you were really an officer in the US Army.
Army docs have nothing to be concerned about in that regard.Up Or Out is very important to them, and would not be easily forgotten.
My wife wasn't allowed by the State to go to universityMy wife is a Harvard grad.
You're not called Always Wrong Walt for no reason.I went Ivy League for graduate school.
Interesting.I have worked with many, many Harvard grads.
Upper level positions are top heavy w/ Ivy Leaguers. Gubmint jobs don't count.Government tends to treat all school's degrees as equal, so undervalues Harvard degrees, while overvaluing the worst schools' degrees. Most diploma mills have high government employment for alumni.
