Yes. I believe the boyfriend was a performer, but there was no question as to his sexuality. It was suggested earlier that his sex was undetermined.

Mr. Owl took Krav Maga classes the last couple of years we lived in the STL area. There were women in his classes; they sparred with each other when they were practicing the punches. However, when they practiced being grabbed by an aggressor, they sparred with males. He said that they were just as good as the guys at breaking away, at tripping the attacker, and knocking them down. It just takes the right training, lots and lots of practice, and the will to hurt the other person.

Is that what you think? That is a general rule, but women are up to 7 ft tall. One of my exes was a 6 ft tall woman who played softball and racketball. She was very strong. I went to TipTopper meetings and the people were huge and the women were not small at all. The last time I had set up a time to meet with him, he said, "let's just meet at a bar, drink and gawk and women. Let's not talk about my issues". I said, "no thanks". And that's the last we spoke.

I can't watch him die.

I’m so sorry. It is very hard to watch a person you care about destroy their lives. I’ve had several friends literally drink themselves to death, one was only 29 years old. Fortunately, my husband rarely drinks, now.

LMAO. You've hit a new low. Worse than half of my ignore list.

I did indeed teach classes to women for self defense. Some were already assaulted. Some wanted to prevent being assaulted. We always pointed out that they would typically be smaller than an attacker, so the element of surprise was their best weapon.

Break loose, and run whenever possible.

Whereas I never cared to study long enough to become a master, I did indeed realize the benefits of studying martial arts.

Kung Fu has 'soft' methods for smaller/weaker people that are effective if used in conjunction with the element of surprise.

Aikido is another art that aims to use an opponent's power against them.

All are theories, and when put to the test they don't always hold up to more violent styles.

Which doesn't mean that on any given day, a smaller/weaker person cannot be successful in a fight.

It's never a good idea to attempt to speak in absolutes. Because as you did here, you back yourself into a corner. Then you double down and devolve into stupid, inane ramblings because you embarrassed yourself.

And your envy of my training isn't a good look.

Quite the contrary.
