Sure, scabs would be called up to take on those routes, but you know there'd still be shit loads of problems. From what I've been hearing, some of your fellow non-binaries in arms have gotten pretty fucking aggressive. You think overtime even the scabs will be stupid enough to risk that kind of abuse? There's only so many Sarah Shourds available.

Actually, they do make money. If food is stolen from a store, the farmer is already paid for the food, and does not care. Truckers are paid for driving, not based on the food.

More importantly, when corrupt police forces are disbanded, the crime rate goes down. Camden disbanded their police force, hiring back many, but not all the police officers. Many of the former police officers could not pass a simple drug test. Some had lied about the criminal record. Side note: one of the police officers that worked with Chauvin had a police record longer, and more recent than George's.

The result was drug evidence stopped going missing. The murder rate dropped by two thirds. Complaints against police went down by 95%. Police attacking complaining witnesses is unheard of now.

Camden still has a lot of problems, but now they have a real police force.

Americans spend less than 1% of their income on raw food. To run out of money to buy food, you would have to raise the cost of food by thousands of percent.

And even then there is a simple solution. We can just cut the agriculture subsidies, and buy food from other countries.

This is childish. I know most of the Alt Right posters do not have jobs, because they clearly have no idea how working works.

But if farmers could just eat their own food, and truckers could just eat the food on their trucks, right? No. Farmers usually grow just one type of crop. They do not grow all the foods they need, much less all the manufactured items they need. It would be rare that a farmer would grow even 0.1% of their total needs. They buy everything else by selling what they produce. If they do not sell what they produce, they cannot buy what they need.

With truckers it is even worse. If they consume what they are supposed to ship (stealing it), then they will not be given more to ship. They are heavy consumers of diesel, so are very dependent on getting paid.

The fact is that almost everyone who has starved in the last 70 years has been a farmer. When the crops fail, they have nothing to sell to buy food. City dwellers can often find something more.

The other fact is truckers are not the most wealthy people in our society. If they had us by the throats, they would be far more wealthy.

They are not scabs. You refuse to do your job, then you lose your job. You are not talking about a strike, you are talking about refusing to do your job. Besides, you are the one who hates unions. If union truckers want to do work, they are not scabs. You would have technically been the scab.

But this is entirely hypothetical. It is like the Million Trucker March. No real truckers showed up. You do not have a job, which is why you are so flip about not doing a job.
