"Trump berates Red Hen after restaurant "

Its times like this that its good to have friends with WHITE HOODIES and TORCHES.....I wonder what the left would do if a US CONGRESSMAN went on TV and suggested the KKK (supposed Trump supporters) take a little demonstration to the RED HEN in VA? The way a democrat congress person...idiot (low IQ MAXINE) suggested to friends of her party (Antifa...the anti-LMAO:laugh:fascit movement) anytime they saw a Trump team member in public? Nothing fascist about prompting violence and harassment in public. Might as well have a book burning party (History Books and Bibles)….your fascist party has already began destroying historical monuments....just like HITLER and STALIN did.

Didn't the Nazis advocate harassment of people they disliked?

You aren't the arbiter of propriety, anchovies.

If you don't like Trump, ask yourself why DEMOCRATS allowed Dirty Debbie's DNC to collude with the crooked Clinton campaign to cheat Bernie.

Beautiful, "copy and paste" has had to resort to a "whataboutism" on "debbie," too funny, is it any wonder he bans posters

And you are correct, I am not the arbiter of propriety, norms of decency are, and when you are the President of the United States you are suppose to be above such petty behavior

LOL absolutely
It will become a liberal destination: A meeting place for the resistance.

We may see a splinter party in the democrats called the Red Hen Democrats. She was already an internet hero, now it'll make the news cycle and she'll get even more press and people will flock there to join the others in the cause to oust president BigMac. The articles of impeachment could likely be drawn up on on one of her dining tables. This is so exciting! History in the making!

:rofl2:

This time...

You aren't the arbiter of norms of decency or what behavior presidents are "suppose (sic)" to be "above" either, anchovies.

I guess you should have fought harder to get a viable DEMOCRAT nominated.

Your still missing the point

I didn't back down on the abuse of power, if Donald was still a reality TV actor would he have gotten the attention he got when he personally berated a small restaurant in Virginia? He employed his position and power, and did it to attack individual citizens in the United States, the same people he is suppose to represent
he defended his Press Sec by called out a business for their uncivilized, gauche behavior.
You need to better understand abuse of power of office if you think a Tweet is such "abuse of power"

And no, the Founding Fathers never authored anything about how the President should handle affairs, but they implied in creating a Chief Executive that the holder of that office would be above petty personal attacks, especially against individual citizens of no relevance to his office
I see nothing like that -are you talking Federalist papers? what?

Now how sick that is?

Regardless of the circumstances, the most powerful individual in the world takes time out of his day to personally attack a small privately owned business in the United States. Not a corporation, nor a big player, not even a famous eatery, but a dinky little restaurant most likely only locals in the area even knew existed, but the President of the United States thinks it deserves to be personally attacked?

No events justify that complete abuse of authority, but it certainly says a lot about the shortcomings of the individual holding the postion and his interpretation of the office, certainly far from Jeffersonian

And just like economics, conservatives will tell us in the next breath they understand and respect tthe traditions and principles established by the Founding Fathers

What did you say when the most powerful individual in the world singled out a single police officer who did nothing with regards to Obama?

Christiecrite must have "missed" this somehow while she was at WTOP.com

Department of Homeland Security employees are seeing violent threats with greater frequency.

The department determined that there was a “heightened threat against DHS employees” in response to recent government actions surrounding immigration, according to a letter sent to employees over the weekend.

“This assessment is based on specific and credible threats that have been levied against certain DHS employees and a sharp increase in the overall number of general threats against DHS employees,” Claire Grady, acting deputy secretary of Homeland Security, wrote to employees on Saturday.

Around two dozen threat reports were issued in the past few days, primarily against Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. Each of these reports is generally related to a specific online threat. All employees are personally contacted by DHS security if they are the target of a violent threat.

In one example, a senior DHS official living in the Washington. D.C. area found a burnt and decapitated animal on his front porch.

The uptick in threats comes amid multiple protests directed at ICE and Customs and Border Protection officers, as well as the DHS secretary.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen was heckled while eating at a restaurant in Washington, D.C., by group calling itself the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America, and demonstrators played audio of crying children outside her Virginia home while chanting “shame!”

In addition to the protests, thousands of employees have had personal data leaked on social media.

“People can disagree on policy,” ICE spokeswoman Liz Johnson said in a statement to ABC News, “but it is unconscionable to target our employees and advocate violence against federal law enforcement officers.”

[h=1]Josh Marshall nails it![/h]"I was mainly offline for a few days. So when I plugged back in last night I realized that we are in the throes of another debate about the decline of “civility” in public life. This is a mealy mouthed word that has no clear meaning beyond social delicacy and the importance of not speaking up too aggressively."

"One might further note that it is simply too comical to be lectured about social decorum by a party whose members shouted “You lie” at a President during a State of the Union address and made Donald Trump their party leader. But even that is really beside the point. What does matter is where we draw the lines of what’s legitimate and what’s not. Most of the civility talk isn’t about any real red line, any boundary that is critical to the kind of free society we want to preserve and build. It’s more a wet blanket meant to tsk tsk legitimate protest and legitimate resistance to corrupt government, misrule and injustice."

Obama did lie, though.

Have another drink.

Think so?

Is there any evidence that such treats were actually received, or that if they do exist, that they came from "trump-supporting scum"?

For all I know, you sent them using fake social media accounts. :D

For all you know? Priceless!

You lie? That's it? Calling a liar a liar is disrespectful.....only on both left coasts. That moment was the beginning of the end for the fascist left...when Middle America (the silent majority) decided to wake up to the danger of allowing a fascist socialist to garner power due to the ignorance of the snowflakes. Here lets be clear. Barry Soetoro lied about everything including his NAME..... he was a liar then and remains a liar. Anyone that supports such an evil asshole as him is just as guilty.
