It's one thing to say "we're all gonna die" and another thing to say "we're all gonna die but I'm doing many damnedest to make sure it's not today". It's not about worry, it's about making a plan. You are using the same logic as the gun-grabbers? "Why do you need a gun? Are you scared???"
Don't be worried, don't be scared, but do be prepared. Wear a seatbelt as a means of protection in the event of a crash not because you think you're going to have one. Buy a gun and know how to use it as protection, not in fear of being robbed, raped and murdered. Wear a mask as a social convention to protect the public and, therefore, yourself against disease, not because you are panicking about getting sick and spreading it to all your relatives.
