Trump meets the real boss!

This is not Aileen Cannon licking Trumps boots while defying the law and telling him he is special. before her Superior Court tore her a new one.

These are the POWERFUL DOMINANT WOMEN who have brought Trump to heel.

Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya laid down very tough pre trial conditions for Trump to follow and that he is likely to fail.

She has given the toughest sentences so far of any judge on 36 Jan6th defendants matching or exceeding Prosecutors request for sentences. Meet Judge Tanya S. Chutkan.

She has ruled against Trump prior on his request to block documents going to the Jan6th committee with a headline statement Judgement Chutkan wrote, “Presidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not President. And Chutkan has said prison can be a powerful deterrent against the threat of another insurrection.”

Poor Trump, the mean liberal judge is mean to him!

And everyone pays their lawyers a retainer to get them started and then has to make payments in arrears in the course of a long case.

When people 'screw' with the lawyers is when the case is done and the last bill is tallied and remitted. I have known guys who will refuse and fight that last bill every time, as there case is done and they figure they can always get a new lawyer later.

That is how Trump screws with all lawyers. Same for his Tradesmen who work on his projects. They tend to get some money up front and the rest after it is done and inspected. That is when Trump is known to now pay.

Smart lawyers knowing they have a client like that, will take bigger retainers and also over bill throughout the case, and then adjust the last bill based on how much the person screws with them or not.
LOL. The billionaire policy

They were referring to Trump's past. He has a long history of not paying his attorneys in cases that he lost in court.

AND THAT IS A LOT OF CASES!

Most of his past attorneys has had to sue him for their legal fees!

He still owes all his Bankruptcy attorney's hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars!

According to a review of state and federal court files conducted by USA Today in 2018, Trump and his businesses had been involved in more than 4,000 state and federal legal actions. While Trump has not filed for personal bankruptcy, his over-leveraged hotel and casino businesses in Atlantic City and New York filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection six times between 1991 and 2009. They continued to operate while the banks restructured debt and reduced Trump's shares in the properties.

During the 1980s, more than 70 banks had lent Trump $4 billion. And many of these lenders were never repaid. After his corporate bankruptcies of the early 1990s most major banks, with the exception of Deutsche Bank, declined to lend to him. After the January 6 United States Capitol attack, the bank decided not to do business with Trump or his company in the future.

Trump's Credit rating sits at "0"!

That wasn't the claim made that I was responding to.

I was responding to the claim that Trump NEVER pays his legal fees.

I have proved that wrong and that the poster who claimed it is a liar.

But, you are, at least, now savvy to the fact that Trump "IS" using his campaign funds to pay for his attorneys fees?

Progress is progress!

I've always acknowledged that and it's perfectly legal for him to do so.

It's one of the reasons people like me donate to him, to fight these charges against him.

Not sure whether it is really legal or not, probably not, as there are GOFUNDME sources that can do that!

I am sure this will eventually be challenged by the Voting Commission and IRS. Probably lead to more indictments!

However, thanks for sharing that you are throwing money away for such a lost and sick cause!

Just Brilliant! :palm:

Says it all really.

Even most TrumpDerp fanatics say they would never be dumb enough to donate to the claimed billionaire so he can use their money, instead of his.

Now we know the answer of 'who is dumb enough'. And it makes perfect sense, really.

I've already researched it.

Campaign funds CAN be used for legal expenses.

Plus you know he's already asked this question of legal and he wouldn't be doing it if he couldn't.

It's not like he's keeping it a secret.

I'm sure Smith would have charged him with it also if it were illegal.

It's all about how he claims the money on his taxes, and how that money is being reported to the Voting Commission that will determine if he is doing things legally or illegally. Any money being given to Donnie for personal purposes like Lawyer fees, should be reported to the IRS as personal income. And we all know Donnie cheats on his taxes!

And you know and I know Donnie does not play by the rules! SO SORRY, as I said, there will be investigations.

I thought it was about insurrection. Is it not about insurrection?

No, the law clearly states what campaign funds can be used for and legal fees are one of them as long as they are related to the campaign.

Travel, lodging, advertising are others.

This really isn't in question.

Since PACS are not allowed to directly support a campaign all their money IS considered personal money so yes Trump can use that as it's not tied to his campaign.

The only way he would get in trouble is if he used specific campaign donations for legal fees that are not related to his campaign which he is not doing.

I'm sure his lawyers already walked him through this, it's not that complicated.

The law also clearly states that you can't threaten canvassers. How did that work out?

I predict Trump will get convicted and have to appeal it to the SC where he will win.
