I’ve actually gone back and forth with it—you can ask noise. If we can end up with secure borders without a wall—I’ll declare victory. I don’t give a crap about the bullshit you lose sleep over [omg, what if Trump actually keeps his promises on it—on noes!!].

the problem with reliance on non-physical barriers is they tie up border agents,
and the levels of enforcement can vary from POTUS to POTUS.

Imagine a sanctuary nutcase like Kamala Harris as POTUS? She would escort them in!

In terms of body language, not looking at the person talking isn’t a good sign.

Trump was looking at both of them the whole time then he finally had to prod Schumer to say something. Both Pelosi and Chuckie looked uncomfortable while Trump looked like he was totally in his element.

Also, it’s hard to spin the ‘we shouldn’t have this discussion in front of the cameras’ bit. Most people are going to conclude that’s because there’s something to hide.

But spin away lol.

No he was not looking at them both the whole time. Nobody could do that, you idiot, they were sitting across from each other.

He did look at Pelosi each time he thought it appropriate to cut off a woman speaking.

He is terrified of strong women...and Pelosi will trash him in debate every time.
 
Trump owned them. they were they talking politics -Trump was talking border security - which do you think is more responsive to Americans concerns?

Taking on the shutdown was a master gambit play. assuming a shutdown Trump gets to say he's doing it for security
While Shumer and Pelosi are stuck with the politics . That's leadership -and Americans respond to it
