The study I’ve been citing suggested cloth masks atomize large droplets into smaller droplets—which amounts to doing the virus a favor.

Cherry-picking studies to prop-up masks is literally anti-science. I stop short of categorically denying that they are effective. But the ‘science’ behind the idea is shaky.

Idk, if I have a specific theory. Imo, the best evidence suggests avoiding tightly packed crowds in tight places. I don’t know of any evidence that suggests brief contacts with strangers poses a significant risk [mask at Kroger’s: Probably pointless] :seems to require at minimum several minutes of close contact with a vector.

Hence: a lot of intra-family transmission.

Apparently, someone was infected in the group Trump was in and it produced a cluster. Whether it had to do with masks/no masks is pure speculation imo.
