Not sure if I like the plan. To be honest, I'd rather see a photo ID requirement to use benefits and a requirement that the benefits only be used for healthy, non luxury foods. That would go a very long way to cut down on card selling and fraud. Unlike some people I don't object to a reasonable safety net. But as Paul Ryan said, not a hammock. Our objective should be to help able people to transition off of public assistance and into the work force.

They also want to control what people who are paying for their own food can buy. Many liberals would love to limit how much meat people can eat to fight global warming. And they successfully banned trans fats in the US.

I don't necessarily disagree with that point, as I struggle with weight issues of my own. But for the most part it is what the Left want is total control over our lives. When smoking bans were starting to make their way into private establishments, I found out just how much of an impact they had on their bottom lines. I used to deliver liquor and cleaning supplies and I would hear from these owners from time to time. This is what Liberal policies do, they don't see the long term ramifications of their ideas.

I have that dumbass on ignore, but I need to say something about his stereotyping stupidity. Trans fats were never banned for one, they were just fazed out at restaurants because of popular demand. And I guess me being a liberal that could probably put away more meat than anyone here means nothing in his brick head.
