“United States-Mexico Trade Agreement.”

no.

it's called a termination letter

NAFTA’s Article 2205 states: “A party may withdraw from this agreement six months after it provides written notice of withdrawal to the other parties. If a party withdraws, the agreement shall remain in force for the remaining parties.”

You know what? I was wrong about that, and I stand corrected.

That being said, the incentive for Mexico and Canada to negotiate separate trade deals with the US is low. They could enter into a deal with each other to which we might be subject to agreeing to in order to supplant NAFTA. Canada and Mexico are besties.

even if i accept your terminology/characterization of events -it does not mean there was a conspiracy towards a corrupt goal between the Trump campaign and the Russians at the meeting.

The meeting was literally about getting dirt on Clinton; dirt that was illegally obtained via hacks.

Trump and his team knew that they were stolen e-mails because Scavino tweeted that on May 11th, 2016, about 3-4 weeks before the Trump Tower meeting where these stolen e-mails were the subject of discussion.

Uday made the mistake of tweeting out his e-mails with Goldstone.

Whether or not the meeting produced anything -and it certainly did since those e-mails were dumped in the middle of the Democratic Convention- doesn't matter. They took the meeting. You still go to jail for robbing a bank even if you're not successful.

taking a meeting is not conspiracy unless there was something agreed to following

And there certainly seems to be since the e-mails from that meeting were dumped, strategically, during the Democratic Convention.

So I don't know how you're coming to the conclusion that nothing came of that meeting when the subject of that meeting was dumped by Wikileaks during the Democratic Convention.

What makes you think nothing came from the meeting? You're just relying on the word of Uday and Trump, both of whom already lied to you twice about that meeting; first by trying to conceal it for 13 months, and then by pretending it was about "adoptions" when we have Uday's own e-mails saying that's not what the meeting was about.

Why are you trusting the word of people who already lied to you twice about that meeting?

Because you're in a cult.

no problem . glad we talked it out. That's what the boards does best!

It really looks like we are headed to another trilateral. I can't imagine anyone wanting to just go with just bi-laterals.
Canada and Mexico only would be difficult for them because of the geography.

They meet and the meeting ends with no agreement (conspiracy)

How do you know no agreement was reached? You're just relying on the word of Uday, who said that.

Well, Uday already lied to you twice about that meeting; first, by trying to conceal it for 13 months, and then by saying it was about "adoptions" when his own e-mails show that it wasn't.

So the guy whose word you're relying on to support your case that nothing transpired from the meeting, lied twice about that meeting. So why do you continue to believe him, even after he lied to you twice about it?

Because you're in a cult, and you behave like a cult member.

you are relying on something unknown hidden to prove the conspiracy.
maybe they came up with secret handshakes and are going to meet outside the Kremlin wall at midnight too.

We know what will happen.

Once Trump is removed from office, you will delete this account as you try to scrub the internet of your Trump support.

That hilarious, you thinking that Trump will be removed. Your prediction is just another one of your long string of fails.

The fact is that he has erased most of what The Obama, your god, had tried to accomplish, and in less that two years. He will continue to drain the swamp and accomplish his agenda for the next six.

Remember this epic fail of yours?

That will go down in JPP history as one of the greats, and you lacked the balls to even dispute it.

Canada and Mexico only would be difficult for them because of the geography.

Or what could happen is that, since Mexico and Canada are BFFs, they could agree to a trade deal themselves and force the US to agree to it, thereby basically doing NAFTA again, only this time, Canada and Mexico have the bargaining power because they're united.

you are relying on something unknown hidden to prove the conspiracy.

What is unknown?

They knew what Russia had was stolen (Re: Scavino's May 11th tweet).

We know that Uday e-mailed Goldstone to set up a meeting to discuss those stolen e-mails.

We know the stolen e-mails were dumped during the Democratic Convention.

We know Trump asked for Russia's help because he's on camera asking for it...only a couple days after Wikileaks dumped the e-mails.

So what's unknown?

maybe they came up with secret handshakes and are going to meet outside the Kremlin wall at midnight too.

The fact that you are straining to not take this seriously is evidence that you are aware of the guilt, but aren't quite ready to own up to being conned.

The fact is that he has erased most of what The Obama, your god, had tried to accomplish, and in less that two years.

Obama accomplished quite a lot and Conservatives have been unable to undo most of it...having to rely on a conman from reality television to tell you what you want to hear.

BTW - the Russia Tax Cut was supposed to increase incomes by $4,000-$9,000.

It didn't.

Now the Russia Tax Cut is less popular than Obamacare.

can't "force" the US by a Canada/Mexico deal.

the US/Mexico already have the deal-and while anything is 'possible' ; I can't see Mexico pulling out of that for an exclusive bilateral with Canada.

the momentum, the existing trilateral with NAFTA- all point to another trilateral replacement

Remember this epic fail of yours?

I remember you changing your personal story multiple times in order to make yourself look better than you actually are.

Fact is you're a fraud who postures on message board to feel better about himself.

can't "force" the US by a Canada/Mexico deal.

Well, something will need to take NAFTA's place.

Canada and Mexico will show solidarity because they're BFFs.

That means any deal the US does with either will have to be subject to the terms of the agreement Mexico and Canada make together. Thereby doing another NAFTA, only this time the negotiations will be bilateral between the US and Canada/Mexico.

We're the odd man out in this scenario.

A tactical and strategic blunder, but one totally in line with past Conservative blunders like Iraq, Deregulation, and Tax Cuts.

the US/Mexico already have the dea

NO WE DO NOT.

All Mexico agreed to were negotiations. There's no guarantee those negotiations would even pan out to a new deal.

And it's still unclear that Mexico even agreed to that.

I can't see Mexico pulling out of that for an exclusive bilateral with Canada.

Mexico and Canada are BFFs. If NAFTA is gone, they will negotiate a deal that establishes them as one trading bloc. We would have to negotiate with that trading bloc, which puts us right back into NAFTA, only disadvantaged because two of the three trading partners entered into an agreement to protect each other.

That's what would happen. This is a strategic blunder in line with Iraq and tax cuts.

the momentum, the existing trilateral with NAFTA- all point to another trilateral replacement

Only this time, Mexico and Canada will unite into one trading bloc, thereby putting the US at a strategic disadvantage in negotiations.

Mexico and Canada are besties. They look out for each other.

i personally think you are overthinking this - no disrespect intended -we all do it.

You have to believe all 3 would prefer a trilateral.
Afterall Canada was part of these negotiations ( if i recall) but chose to wait on the sidelines until Mexico/ US
hashed this much out.

The endgame is gonna be a trilateral -barring something like Canada not folding into the agreement.
IOW's all 3 parties have the same motivation for a 'NAFTA replacement'

i personally think you are overthinking this - no disrespect intended -we all do it.

Well, as I see it, your problem is that you haven't thought enough about this.

Which is pretty in line with the lack of impulse control on the right.

You haven't thought through the possible outcomes because most of them are negative. And negative outcomes undermine whatever this bullshit is.
