Cuba could be changed by opening trade and allowing Americans to vacation and do business here. They would love capitalism if it didn't involve military force. Our policies have kept Cubans living in poverty for over half a century. Yet they do not hate us. Obama tried to start friendly relations, but the right blocked him. Time to grow up.

I do if the standards are lowered to allow it. Most women, like close to 90% likely couldn't serve on a USMC 60mm mortar crew where the typical combat loadout per man is about 130 lbs. gear. That's a tough load for even many men.

On the other hand, if women are given only support and administrative roles, they will become resented by men who could have taken those roles instead. I saw that myself during my service.

I wish the US would go back and start drafting our young citizens for military service. As a matter of fact, every single young person in this country should do at least 2 years of mandatory military service. Especially these young black mf's that love pulling out their guns. Get these young punks off the streets and in a uniform.

You do know, that the draft has pretty consistently rejected between 30 and 50% of all draftees as unfit for military service. The highest rejection rates are typically found in the deep South and large urban areas, particularly among minorities. Medical issues and being mentally ill or unfit (aka stupid) are the two biggest reasons for rejection.

Absolutely, the US has a culture of obese, unhealthy young people and many with records, however......should the US start drafting I believe young people would be willing to get their shit together and ablige.1791232382212.png

Maybe an alternative that isn't as attractive. Can't do military service because you're fat and stupid? You get two years in the Civilian Labor Corps digging ditches or something. At least you won't be fat when you finish your service...
