What are Trumps qualifications again?

Well if consider Assad's regime to be fascist. But having people and tweets tomato tomāto
Assad is the only one that stood between al_Nusra overrunning Syria and being another
Islamic terrorist state - like ISIS

He warned Obama -just Like Qaddafi did as well - that the terrorist would take over Damascus
if he was overthrown

but but but...

It's a misused term. Any authoritarian regime can be repressive and even murderous without being Fascist. Fascism is a particular historical political system. People who call others Fascists as a blanket insult are ignorant and/or intellectually lazy, IMO.

Fun fact: Benito Mussolini - who became an actual Fascist, was originally a socialist politician and a journalist at the Avanti! newspaper. In 1912, he became a member of the National Directorate of the Italian Socialist Party.

As I understand it fascism is extreme nationalism, coupled with dictatorial forcible oppression of any dissenters as well as extreme regimentation of society.

I would consider fascism more of a characteristic of a government than an actual form of government. Islamofachism comes to mind like the caliphateists.

There would be some aspects of fascism in the Communist society and of course in socialist societies.

My point being using sarin on people in your country it's probably closer to fascism than tweets.

She claimed to be thin - because of "good genes".

Oddly, Christiecrite has made the same claim repeatedly.

Fair enough. I don't think I've encountered that other poster I know this forum is rather lax on creating alternate accounts. I was informed upon my very first post here by being told that I was Mason.

It's a historical political system. It's not a characteristic.

Fascism developed in Europe, especially Italy, in the early 20th century and is said to be inspired by national syndicalism. The ideology is opposed to Marxism, liberalism and traditional conservatism, but it also borrows practices and concepts of all of these ideologies. Instead of focusing on class conflict, like the socialists, fascists focus more on races and nations. Fascism rejects the liberal thinking of a representative government and individual rights, while at the same time advocating for public participation in politics and making use of parliamentary channels. It rejects conservative views.

Okay food we're talking about Italy and 6th grade history for a long time ago

No, he's not, as you have been told before. Being opposed to flag-burning does not extrapolate to Fascism and hatred of democracy.

Hatred of Democracy? No. But an opposition to free speech? Absolutely.
And he's said and done other things that betray an opposition to Democracy.

I'm sorry it's the people that squawk about and everyone being fascist that are anti-free speech. Not Trump.

Also it wasn't Donald Trump that's been three years God knows how much money trying to impeach Trump because they despise the Democratic process.

How is he against it...eh?

He wants to make it illegal to burn the flag, which obviously would only be the beginning. So he doesn't like freedom of speech.
As for Democracy, Trump tried to cheat in two elections, he's trying to sabotage the post office, he's talking about giving himself a third term, and he's encouraging people to riot if he loses the election.

Speculative non sequitur.

Is that so?

Post your evidence for those assertions. I'll wait.
