With Trump it was about a request to "ease up" on Flynn. The Flynn investigation continued anyway. Comey didn't think it was obstruction when he was asked that by Trump. And, Comey made it abundantly clear on numerous occasions to Trump that he was not under any Russiaphobnia investigation.

So, what are left with? Maybe Trump was still irked about how Comey mishandled the Hillary stuff. Maybe Trump just didn't trust him. Maybe Trump didn't like his haircut. Who knows? He fired him.

He will say he was joking, and that’s the way Trump is, he is desperate to admit all the dirty underhanded things he does, and get away with it, that’s what would make him feel most powerful. So Trump likely knew there were some dirty underhanded stuff going on in order to get a hold of Hillary‘s emails, and though he knew he shouldn’t, he made that joke.

Also, if I remember correctly, he said of course I want to be emails anybody would’ve wanted those emails.

It was a sarcastic remark that since Hillary wouldn't produce her emails, that maybe the Russians would help us out (because that's all ANYBODY here was obsessed with......EVERYTHING had a connection to "da Russians"!!!) Ooooooooo so scary. LOL

Trying to make this laughable investigation out to be of Water Gate proportions is an illustration of the desperation we see from ignoramuses with a severe case of TDS in trying to find ANYTHING they can to impeach Trump.

It would be laughably stupid if it weren't so dangerous to our political processes and the efforts to create a Fascist underground within our Government.
