I read that it involves illegal campaign donations and money laundering. Those are Trump characteristics too. Bannon said money laundering would take Trump down. That is where the Russian connections germinate.
 
Incorrect. What they are looking for is a desperate attempt to find anything, something, they can get Trump on. The investigation was a nothing burger, so now they are going after an attorney over Stormy Daniels payments.

It is a fine difference.



Black's Law Dictionary defines collusion as "a deceitful agreement or compact between two or more persons, for the one party to bring an action against the other for some evil purpose, as to defraud a third party..." A conspiracy, on the other hand, is defined as "a combination or confederacy between two or more persons formed for the purposes of committing, by their joint efforts, some unlawful or criminal act, or some act which is innocent in itself, but becomes unlawful when done by the concerted action of the conspirators." Got it? You can have collusion without having a criminal conspiracy, but you can't have a criminal conspiracy without some sort of collusion.

So it comes out that the United States Attorney for Manhattan was looking for communications between Trump and Cohen regarding efforts to stop the release of the Access Hollywood tape.

What this means?

1) The Attorney Client privilege does not include discussions with attorneys regarding future crimes. This, I suspect, is what they were looking for, and why it was okay to go after A/C communications.

2) my question now is... what Infomation did they have that was strong enough to convince a judge to grant a warrant for a raid looking for communications with the President of the United Stated and his attorney and where did they get it?

They have something strong suggesting Trump and Cohen were planning to commit a crime regarding covering up the Access Hollywood tape.

It means Mueller is getting desperate enough to go rifling through Trump’s lawyers desk in search of something/anything to pin on Trump.
