Where are all the starving children?

bonuses, salaries are expenses paid from revenue, what's left after all of that are profits, idiot.

Without profit, there is no revenue. Without profit, bonuses, dividends and salaries cannot be paid going forward. Yesterday's profits provide tomorrow's capital which is spent on growing the business or taken out in the form of dividends, bonuses, or profit-sharing and spent by stakeholders.

It all ends up back in the economy. Static money is worth nothing.

Correct. That cat fucker has no clue.

For years we have been told that without school lunches kids would starve. We have been told that for some kids the only way they get to eat is at school. In fact it was so dire that we had to expand it to school breakfasts and even after school meals

Well, thanks to the china virus kids haven't been in school which means they aren't getting their school lunches

Which then begs the question. Where are all of the starving children? Shouldn't they be out on the streets begging for food like a Charles Dickens story?

In some cities where they need it, like New York, schools are doing a grab-and-go lunch program.

In the ones that need it, but aren't doing it, kids are just starving. You don't see them in the streets because life isn't a cartoon, so they're starving in their own houses.

:palm:

Wall Street is the hub of the economy. Approximately 50% of Americans own equities, and many more are vested in an investment fund as part of their retirement plan.

I've read where about 52% of Working Americans are stock holders which includes the 401K contributors, down from 66% just a decade ago! The recent boom over the last 3 years had more to do with corporations and carpet golfers using their huge tax breaks to purchase buybacks!

Stock buybacks don't remove capital from the economy. A stock buyback is a way to return capital to shareholders.

to be fair, the schools already had contracts to buy the food.....if they hadn't delivered it, it would have rotted somewhere and you know who the demmycunts would have blamed that on.......

Why would the fact that the food was delivered stop them from blaming President Trump?
