choice is irrelevant. sure, it is easier for a Jew to hide from historical persecution, but that is besides the point here.

And yes, she is right- in that it wasn't abut race, as gays, and cripples were also persecuted - also jews are not a specific race

but where you are wrong in thinking this has anything to do with wokeism - this is how Jewish community has too much sway in American politics. for her to get 2 weeks ban - when people on the view say offensive stuff all the time is absurd.

Not for everyone it isn't. Some folks are ethnic Jews and not religious.

Jewish is a religion, also an ethnicity...

Pretending that the Third Reich saying that they were a "race of vermin" means that they were hateful to whites is preposterous. It was the ethnic Jews they tried to cleanse, along with blacks and other "lesser races". Pretending that this was not racism is trying to rewrite history at a level of stupid that few have ever seen. What Whoopi said was offensive to anyone who has been the victim of racism.

Here's a hint. If one of things they are saying is "they are a race of vermin" then it is racism... If a group is calling themselves the Master Race.... that too is racism. The Third Reich was racist first, last, and always.

Having an ancestor who worshiped as a Jew doesn't make their descendants Jewish, any more than having a Christian mom makes you a Christian.
