There were several prosecutions in St. Louis when we lived there, of perpetrators of the knock-out game. In the 2-3 cases that I recall, the perps were whites attacking whites and I believe an Asian too. They were charged as assaults though, not hate crimes, to the best of my recollection.
I mean it would make sense that most white deaths come at the hands of whites. They are the majority. It would even make sense that most black deaths come at the hands of whites because again they are the majority but its wierd that blacks kill more blacks given that there are so few of them already.
