Why does the explosion in variants correlate with the vaccines?

Ringing Smallpox cases with Smallpox vaccines has totally eliminated Smallpox. It has almost totally eliminated Polio also. The Covid-19 pandemic has delayed that, but we will get back on track with it.

It is clearly possible to eliminate some diseases with vaccines.

perhaps you could just accept the fact that some people are going to choose not to get the vaccine, just like some people are going to choose to smoke or drink beverages with corn syrup sweeteners........then we could all get on with our lives and concentrate on keeping Biden from fucking up the country.....

Mass vaccinations changes the fitness landscape for the virus and it would actually be kind of odd if variants didn’t occur as a result.

Biden got the vaccine, and got it into people's arms. He is now trying to convince more people to get the vaccine. The orders were submitted under trump. So if you want to give trump credit for something, he did allow bureaucrats to make orders... But then again, a lot of other countries put in orders too.

We will see next year if there are new variants due to vaccination.

The argument against your theory is that the current variations repeat the same mutations. It appears there are a limited number of beneficial mutations available to Covid-19.

But that is an unproven argument, and could be wrong. We will see who is right in a while.

All the planning of manufacturing, transportation and distribution was already done, right down to your local hospital. Biden just sat there and watched it work. Let's just worry about the U.S. for now.
