What is really funny is people who think we can pump 10's of millions of kilotons of crap into the atmosphere every year for over a 100 years and not think we have any impact.

That said it is equally idiotic to argue about climate change. We are living the results. It is a done deal. Like I said it just time to crack a beer, sit on the porch and watch the show.

Love the way you cherry picked that one! How about 100 °F / 38 °C recorded at Fort Yukon in 1915? Oh and again, why are so many of those maximum temperatures in the first half of the 20th century? Can't blame CO2 so that must be due to natural variability, n'est-ce pas?

See, you're getting your talking points mixed up. Conservatives don't dispute climate change - they dispute AGW. So, most on the right accept the "global warming thing." They just don't believe that man is a significant contributing factor.

Exactly my point everything, droughts, hurricanes, hot weather, cold weather are routinely blamed on global warming. Yet dare anybody cite natural variability, solar winds, lack of sunspots, cosmic rays or ocean-atmosphere climate variability like the AMO and PDO, they are dismissed as deniers.

Tell you what, it is about time that I posted what Prof. Richard Lindzen, arguably the greatest living atmospheric physicist, said as an opening statement to the House of Commons back in 2012.

Stated briefly, I will simply try to clarify what the debate over climate change is really about. It most certainly is not about whether climate is changing: it always is. It is not about whether CO2 is increasing: it clearly is. It is not about whether the increase in CO2, by itself, will lead to some warming: it should. The debate is simply over the matter of how much warming the increase in CO2 can lead to, and the connection of such warming to the innumerable claimed catastrophes. The evidence is that the increase in CO2 will lead to very little warming, and that the connection of this minimal warming (or even significant warming) to the purported catastrophes is also minimal. The arguments on which the catastrophic claims are made are extremely weak – and commonly acknowledged as such. They are sometimes overtly dishonest.
