How Mary Jo Kopechne was a victim of the Kennedys TWICE

I love how the stance of the rabid righties on the thread is that unless we admit he was guilty of murder 1, we're apologizing for him & making him out to be a hero.

Who are the hacks here? You guys have been obsessed w/ Chappaquiddick for decades. As I said w/ my 1st comments, I thought the film - which is supposedly very true to what actually happened, and was certainly not sympathetic to the Kennedys - surprised me. I think I've listened to "murder" from the righties for too long, because his actions didn't strike me as even close to as scandalous as they have been portrayed.

No. Not murder one. At a minimum manslaughter as he was drunk when he was driving and did not have a valid drivers license.

Imagine if he were <GASP> black?

You poor dumb fuck. You should have learned by now that copying and pasting things you know nothing about (which is everything) always comes back to kick your own ass for you. Read it slowly or have someone read it for you. Fucking idiot.

"If water enters the airways of a conscious person, the person will try to cough up the water or swallow it, often inhaling more water involuntarily. When water enters the larynx or trachea, both conscious and unconscious persons experience laryngospasm, in which the vocal cords constrict, sealing the airway. This prevents water from entering the lungs. Because of this laryngospasm, in the initial phase of drowning, water generally enters the stomach and very little water enters the lungs. Though laryngospasm prevents water from entering the lungs, it also interferes with breathing. In most persons, the laryngospasm relaxes some time after unconsciousness and water can then enter the lungs causing a "wet drowning". However, about 7–10% of people maintain this seal until cardiac arrest.[18] This has been called "dry drowning", as no water enters the lungs. In forensic pathology, water in the lungs indicates that the person was still alive at the point of submersion. Absence of water in the lungs may be either a dry drowning or indicates a death before submersion.[23]"

Poor Leokkkle

For real. Does a wingnut really need to time travel back a half century in an attempt to make a salient point?

What is the average age of a time-traveling jpp.com Trumptard anyway? Like, seventy six or something?
Are people under the age of 55 even really aware of Cappaquidik, or whatever it's called?

the man is dead

the accident happened 60ish years ago

Its amazing that they don't know the medical knowledge of head injuries has increased greatly

the man hit his head and was diagnosed with a concussion injury

I suggest they bang their head on a concrete wall about five times and test the theories we now know about head injuries if they don't believe the facts

Yeah - that's why I said his actions were sad & reprehensible.

Reading. It's a thing.

HEAD INJURY

combine shock and a head injury and people act weird

that is why when officials get to an accident scene they make those involved to sit off to the side if they do not appear injured to the naked eye

INTERNAL INJURIES

like a concussive head injuries

people with head injuries can very often act in illogical ways

kennedy was many things to many people

he was a human not a superhero

or a villan

people hit their heads in crashes

especially before airbags

The lengths Thingy goes to on order to defend democrats... But he claims he isn't one. There is no defense of Kennedy, but leave it to thingy to come up with one.

No defense of The Liberal Lion?
You are a fucking moron.

I guess it's one of those events that will always be shrouded in some mystery, because there were no real witnesses.

I just don't see Ted K. as sinister. I think he's a goofball who I feel a little sorry for, having to live in the shadow of brothers who were much smarter & more talented than he was, and live up to a name and expectation that he never asked for.

Not to take away from what happened at Chappaquidick, which was obviously a tragedy.

Ted did more for the US than the rest of his brothers and their criminal fathet combined.
No other politician in history did as much for the poor and vulnerable in this country than Ted Kennedy.

When it came to killing the Kennedy's, they shot the wrong ones. JFK was making real change in this country. Robert also. Fat Dead Ted that drunk, thieving fucking murderer could not hold a candle to his brothers and in fact lived off their name and accomplishments while doing absolutely nothing.

Aye Cap.
Might want to google Teddy's accomplishments unless you just like lying.
Ted was an incredibly accomplished legislator and was well respected on both side by those who knew him.
