Biblical prophecy claims the Rapture is coming April 23, numerologist says

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Matthew 5:17-18

The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Matthew 1:1

And I saw the heaven opened; and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon called Faithful and True; and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself. And he is arrayed in a garment sprinkled with blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure. And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. And he hath on his garment and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev. 19:11-16

This sword is not a weapon at all but "truth"..
There is a whole thread on it.

Would you like to see the source for Revelation?

This exercise strongly suggests that these are later additions to an original Jewish text inserted to “Christianize” a book that in its origins had nothing to do with Jesus. This is a rather astounding phenomenon and once one sees it it seems clear that the underlying original text remains intact and makes complete sense without these references:

Rev 1:1 The revelation [of Jesus Christ,] which God gave [him] to show his servants what must soon take place; he made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,
2 who testified to the word of God [and to the testimony of Jesus Christ,] even to all that he saw.
3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of the prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and who keep what is written in it; for the time is near.
4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,
[5 and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and freed us from our sins by his blood,
6 and made us to be a kingdom, priests serving his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.]

Rev 1:9 I, John, your brother who share with you [in Jesus] the persecution and the kingdom and the patient endurance, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God [and the testimony of Jesus.]

NRS Rev 11:8 and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that is prophetically called Sodom and Egypt, [where also their Lord was crucified.]

Rev 12:17 Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her children, those who keep the commandments of God [and hold the testimony of Jesus.]

Rev 14:12 Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God [and hold fast to the faith of Jesus.]

Revelation of John, the original Jewish version

That's nonsense.. a creation of the gospel writers to try and make Jesus fit the prophesy.
no......your bizarre arguments were created by you to deny he fits the prophecy......never any horses in Israel?......even if that were true (and it is absurd) the Bible doesn't say Jesus rode a horse.......genealogies?.....your claims are inaccurate, but even then, the only genealogy that matters is God - Spirit - Jesus.......

If there were horses then there'd be traces of horse-shit on the Dead Sea Scrolls. Oh, wait..............

your source quotes the Catholic Encyclopedia to explain the theory you have adopted.....however, for some reason it doesn't mention the concluding sentence of the CE....
Yet on the whole the theory is but a conjecture.l

further, your source in his own words....
Not being a (paid) theologian, scholar or writer (but my work has been qualified as "scholarly" by some of my readers), and starting from scratch & using a "global" approach & spending a huge amount of time, gave me (I strongly believe so) a tremendous advantage & unrestricted freedom and, shall I say, allowed me to see the forest from the trees.

another electronics engineer who fancies himself a biblical scholar, like Bruce......don't bother quoting him again......

Jesus doesn't fulfill the OT Jewish prophesies.. He was NOT an anointed warrior king. Jesus didn't need to be from the Davidic line .. That's a bit like gilding the lily.
and yet he was.......because the Jews themselves misunderstood the OT Jewish prophecies.......

There you go pretending to be a religious scholar again.

Have you ever read Elaine Pagels? She is one of the foremost Revelation scholars.

War in heaven. "The Book of Revelation is war literature," Pagels explained. John of Patmos was a war refugee, writing sixty years after the death of Jesus and twenty years after 60,000 Roman troops crushed the Jewish rebellion in Judea and destroyed Jerusalem. In the nightmarish visions of John's prophecy, Rome is ...

Mar 31, 2012 - And why not? No other New Testament book reads like Revelation. The book virtually drips with blood and reeks of sulfur. At the center of this final battle between good and evil is an action-hero-like Jesus, who is in no mood to turn the other cheek. Elaine Pagels, one of the world's leading biblical scholars, ...

Once again you equate agreeing with what someone said with it being correct.
