No American Flag on the moon

The America hating liberal Left, in an Orwellian rewrite of history, ... intentionally erased America from the moon landing. :palm:

While, from a perspective of mankind in general, this is a reasonable view, it's totally out of context with respect to making a movie about an historical figure. What a silly justification for a stupid decision. LOL Really. It's so stupid it makes me certain the whole movie will be revisionist bullshit. I'd like the thank the director for saving me the time of wondering if this movie will be worth watching.

Damien Chazelle previously directed La La Land, so that might tell you something. Maybe Armstrong and Aldrin will break into a song and dance, perhaps Fly Me to the Moon? I also read that Clint Eastwood was supposed to direct it originally.

They used IMAX cameras so it can't all be bad, can it?

The flag is still there, right?

If so, the movie is ahistorical.

It's probably about 'The Money'. Most of these films make a lot of Money overseas. I'm not sure foreigners want to see a film that brags about putting a Flag on the Moon like we are Colonizers from the Past and are claiming the Moon for ourselves. I think they intentional left that part out because of the overseas Market. (maybe I'm jaded about the Capitalists in Hollywood?)

Hollywood star Ryan Gosling, who portrays Armstrong in the movie, told The Telegraph the flag was omitted from the moon landing because the achievement of humans walking on the moon "transcended countries and borders."

We spent over a hundred billion on the Apollo program.

And no flag?

I think it makes a lot of sense.

Neil Armstrong made it a point to say his first words from the moon was the accomplishment was on behalf of humanity. He did not use the word "Americans"

Foreigners will be offended by accurate history?

I don't think that was the motivation, but It's possible.

IMO, it's motivated by typical Democrat utter hatred for America, ... especially White American men.

It was one of Nixon's accomplishments as U.S. President, ... and that just burns liberal buttholes.

Just look what they did with star wars. Took a great franchise and turned it into a stupid SJW promotion.

They may view it as 'Nationalistic', an American propaganda movie.

Another thing, Chinese companies are partnering with American companies to make movies nowadays, that may have something to do with it?
