Trump pulls out of Syria

we did a good job in Syria and we did it with regional partners, and Trump especially gets credit
for the "battlefield autonomy" policy he put in instead of micromanagment that Obama did

Time for us to leave

You do realize we have been using Autonomy on the battlefield for the last 3 or 4 presidents.

Bringing Autonomy to the battlefield is not a Donald Trump accomplishment!

Much like Obummers withdraw from Iraq. The one the media tried to ignore before they no longer could.

Does the US have a SOFA agreement in Syria? Have we installed a Maliki character to govern Syria?

You're punching above your weight.

Who are our regional partners in Syria?

You must be pleased that he is handing over the country to the Russians. Most likely Putin told him to get out, and he did what he was told. Fuck, even our State department had no idea what was happening, and most likely our military leaders as well.

Exactly!!!! :good4u:

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump and his puppet master Putin aren't both seeing that the end is in sight for Trump, so Putin will probably be ordering Trump to make a lot more decisions that will benefit Russia at our expense before he resigns in disgrace.

All just to get Trump's ass out of debt to Russian banks and the Russian mob.

And we can’t cure every global ill with our military.

I agree.

But, here is the real deal- Some things we cannot afford to do- and some things we can't afford "Not" to do.

Here is another deal- Donald Trump is not the deciding factor!

What was that sermon we just heard from you on getting Congressional approval for military matters?

Dude! We are trying our best to agree with you here! LOL!

President Trump has let the military know that the buck stops with them, not him.
The Pentagon, after eight years of chafing at what many generals viewed as micromanaging from the Obama White House, is so far embracing its new freedom.

Officials say that much of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis’s plan to defeat the Islamic State, which Mr. Mattis delivered to the White House in February but has yet to make public, consists of proposals for speeding up decision-making to allow the military to move more quickly on raids, airstrikes, bombing missions and arming allies in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere. Commanders argue that loosening restrictions — as Mr. Trump has already done for American operations in much of Somalia and parts of Yemen — could lead to a faster defeat of Islamic State militants in not only the Middle East but also the Horn of Africa.

That was a UN report those number are ludicrous.
at it's peak ISIS was maybe 100k

Do you seriously think they still have 30k? they have been eviscerated

and that report breaks it down to 16k in Iraq ( more bullshit) and 14k in Syria
of the 14k in Syria only about 3k are in pockets the US could hit ( we are in a small area) and the rest dispersed as terrorists..
That report is an outlier that says ISIS is still a functional state as well -it's garbage

The U.S. military has not released any figures since last year, but comments by military officials had indicated there were not many more than 10,000 fighters left. total.

Talk to Mad Dog. I'm just repeating the things that he and other Military Officials has told the press and has advised Donald Trump!

Hahaha..

Cadet Bone Spurs has already told us that he knows more than all the generals because he has a good brain and went to a military high school..

Obviously, you agree.

Like I said it was 1 report an and outlier at that.
Which is not to say there aren't operational pockets, and insurgents left in both Syria and Iraq.

But they aren't going to mass again, and they will eventually get ground down -we don't need to be there to do it.

:rofl2: When Trump farts noisenatta agrees with it.

I appreciate that idea.
Certainly the Kurds deserve a state -but they are not going to get it with Erdogan in power.
So if we stay- what will we actually do to "support the Kurds?"

The Northern Federation wants an autonomous State like Iraqi Kurdistan. They want to remain part of Syria and will work with Assad. The US should stay put until there is an Agreement on this. Put it in writing.

"The Rojava conflict, also known as the Rojava revolution, is a political upheaval and military conflict taking place in Northern Syria, known among Kurdish nationalists as Western Kurdistan or Rojava. During the Syrian Civil War from 2012, a Kurdish-dominated coalition led by the Democratic Union Party as well as some other Kurdish, Arab, Syriac-Assyrian and Turkmen groups have sought to establish a new constitution for the de facto autonomous region, while military wings and allied militias have fought to maintain control of the region. This led to the establishment of the Democratic Federation of Northern Syria (DFNS) in 2016. The supporters of the DFNS argue that the events constitute a social revolution[6] with a prominent role played by women both on the battlefield and within the newly formed political system, as well as the implementation of democratic confederalism, a form of libertarian socialism which emphasizes decentralization, gender equality and the need for local governance through semi-direct democracy."

The Russian, Syrians , Iranians, Turks, Iraqis, Kurds and Lebanese will now determine what happens in the region. That's how it should be.

The call was' 'Yanqui got home '- and Trump went.

Except that he hasn't yet and you can't believe a fucking thing that he says.

'The Russians'. Yeah. What could go wrong?

DJT has once again exposed the truth about the Left. Socialists are warmongers. The proof is in this thread.
