AOC in a NUT shell!

I'll understand if dumbass can't or won't cite evidence. LOL

Maybe you should pay closer attention to threads. Or maybe you should stop being such a fucking lardass and do the work yourself instead of demanding everyone else accommodate your bad faith.

Government revenues for 2018 were below that of 2017

You can do math, right?

2018 revenues were 2% below 2017

KILL YOURSELF

If Conservative economic and fiscal theory had any merit, then 2018 would have seen GDP growth along what was promised, and an increase in revenues collected by the federal government.

Unfortunately, GDP growth for 2018 was the same as it was in 2015 without a tax cut.

Also unfortunately, federal revenues for 2018 were 2% less than 2017.

So based on that empirical evidence, what conclusion can we draw from the results of one year of Russia Tax Cut Conservative policy?

So you can't speak to what AOC believes and the subject of MMT. Kind of like the Fed. Do you actually believe in anything?

She's a believer in MMT. Are you as well?

There's a great discussion to be had on that topic. I'm not sure where I fall anymore in my economic beliefs. The too big to fail bailout destroyed my faith in both schools of thought. Clearly unfettered capitalism would lead to more and more of housing crisis type of fraudulent banking activities since even with regulation the fuckers sold out millions of investors, but it was also in part a response to being forced to loan to high risk pools. I still don't understand the "too big to fail" logic and I'm afraid I'm incapable of understanding it. My scenario would have seen the government preventing foreclosures during a transition to new bank ownership. Someone would have snapped up the failed banks. It's a lie, in my opinion, to say they were too big to fail.

If they meant it was too risky to allow the potential for a hostile enemy to acquire the assets, well that needed to be said in my opinion. I can't think of any other reason why a bank would be too big to fail.

You have any thoughts? We should start a thread, but I gotta run and do some estimates and a little repair for a few hours.

but it was also in part a response to being forced to loan to high risk pools.

No bank was forced to do this...they did this by choice.

As the Federal Reserve said:

"Since 1995 there has been essentially no change in the basic CRA rules or enforcement process that can be reasonably linked to the subprime lending activity. This fact weakens the link between the CRA and the current crisis since the crisis is rooted in poor performance of mortgage loans made between 2004 and 2007. "
https://www.federalreserve.gov/images/20081203_analysis.pdf

Now, hmmm....what happened from 2004-7? This:

“The Presidents Working Group’s March policy statement acknowledged that turmoil in financial markets clearly was triggered by a dramatic weakening of underwriting standards for U.S. subprime mortgages, beginning in late 2004 and extending into 2007.
https://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/fin-mkts/Documents/q4progress update.pdf

So the mortgages that caused the collapse were the ones issued between 2004-7, that had lowered standards. And who lowered those standards? Conservatives. Regulators work for the Executive Branch. Who controlled the Executive Branch from 2004-7?

Yep, the Republicans put on a real Shit Show yesterday in the Cohen hearing.

Did you see that ugly old witch Republican House lady yesterday. The bitch was long in the tooth and foaming at the mouth when she spoke.

She was so mad she couldn't even make a complete sentence. She looked stupid and unprofessional- but all of the Republicans did in the hearing.

They just looked moronic and like a bunch of mad old wet hens with their feathers all ruffled up!

I think the Democrats tore the Republicans little playHOUSE down and now we have a real check on this president- THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE LOSS.

SO they come here today and say negative things about AOC!

What I shared has nothing to do with Yesterday, the dems coached witness looked stupid much like you do when you post clown! You are trying to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and losing badly!

The only people who got a tax cut are the marginally poor. If your deductions were greater than 24K/family, then you got no tax cut. I don't get why you don't see that. And the people you think should feel betrayed by Trump simply took it in stride. They had a good run when they had that deduction train to hitch their cart on. It's the liberals who want all the nice things in their neighborhood at the expense of the feds. Those are the people who are pissed off. Now they have to truly pay their fare share. LOL

Your hatred for others has been duly noted Wolfman!

No one could look any stupider than you here in the forum except for Text Drivers and Truth Deflector!

The 3 Stooges were smarter than you three people!

She and her slave owning friend Kamala have no answers for how to pay for it! 70% wouldn't touch what she needs to pay for her delusion.

Sure it would. A 70% top marginal tax rate would most definitely increase revenues to the federal government that it can use to spend on things like single payer, universal health care, free public colleges, and even part of a Green New Deal.

So then your promise that wages would increase by $4,000-$9,000 was just snake oil to sell this rotten bill.

"Alexandria O. Cortez reminds me of the story about a post turtle. What’s a post turtle you might ask? Well, a post turtle is like “When you’re driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top; that’s a post turtle. You know he didn’t get up there by himself, he doesn’t belong up there, he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, he’s elevated beyond his ability to function, and you just wonder what kind of fool put him up there to begin with.” And that, boys and girls, is a post turtle." ~Author Unknown 😬

Heard it before but funny nonetheless, especially apropos to an airhead like AOC.

At the End of a Long, Tedious Cohen Hearing, AOC Was Sharp and Crisp

What I hear Conservatives say is that cutting taxes will;

increase tax revenue (it didn't last year)
bring forth 3%+ growth (it didn't last year)
grow the market (it didn't last year)
prevent outsourcing and offshoring (it didn't last year)
not result in record stock buybacks (it didn't last year)

I'm still seeking a credible Conservative economist. There don't appear to be any.

What you spew and erupt with are lies and stupidity. But I am amused by morons like you who think tax increases spur on economic growth. You really are that fucking retarded.
