Wouldn’t bother me at all. In fact the only open carrier I’ve encountered was a young black fellow in West Memphis, AR. We were fueling up at the same station and shared pleasantries and discussed the importance of our 2nd amendment rights.

I agree with your first sentence except I would say ‘could’ instead of ‘would.’ Your second is hogwash pure and simple. In the right hands ARs (I’m not going to give the left the satisfaction of referring to them as ‘assault rifles’) are fine defensive weapons. And your concluding thought is truly spoken like the 2nd amendment hating liberal you have shown yourself to be.

NO, I would not guess that it would bother you at all.

I do think it would secretly bother enough and suppress commerce enough that there would be a significant increase in support for gun control. Not many would admit why.

There are plenty of people who think a 12 gauge shotgun is a superior weapon of choice for home defense, or in any tactical situation calling for firepower in close-quarters. Some of them are military experts.

It does not take a radical Kenyan-Marxist to recognize that shotguns are designed with the capacity to easily hit moving targets at close quarters, and are the best weapon known to mankind to deliver overwhelming firepower in close-quarters situations.

Nothing I wrote could be construed as hating the second amendment, and your bolded assertion could only come from someone who is extremely comfortable engaging in abject dishonesty.
 
This thread is about the special need of Black Americans to defend themselves against LYNCH MOBS, not home invasion.

What weapon would you recommend to stop a LYNCH MOB? ... or stop the government coming to "put y'all back in chains" as Joe Biden so eloquently stated.

Once again, inventing reasons to justify having an AR-15. Reasons that either do not exist, or do not require and AR-15 to address.

If a group of men approach you with the intent to lynch you, pulling out a 357 mag or a semi-auto Glock will stop them dead in their tracks. Not a single one of those punks want to even take a five percent chance of a bullet being embedded in their brain.

Lets talk about the real reasons for the appeal of civilian market assault rifles. The reason wingnuts get so triggered about this is they know there is a kernel of truth to what I am saying.

The reason men like to play paint ball, the reason some men like to train as a weekend warrior with rightwing militia, is the exact same reason some dudes like to collect military-style civilian assault rifles.

It appeals to the Rambo fantasies every single one of us - every single red blooded male - grew up with. Those rifles just look bad@ass, and they appeal to us in the same way playing Rambo did when we were boys.

If you actually want to defend your home and your family, the superior tactical choice is a good 12 gauge shotgun. Unless you are highly trained, there is more than a 50 percent chance you will miss an intruder with an AR-15, even if you aim. A shotgun gives you close to a zero percent chance of missing, and its overwhelming firepower is going to lay out any intruder so they do not even get a chance at return fire.

First off, an AR-15 is NOT an "assault rifle." Some use them in high power rifle competitions, I preferred to use an actual military issued rifle when I shot competitively.
Your rant is pure idiocy, kinda like the "military ballistics" bullshit you tried to feed us some time back.
