That has been discussed. Both Obama and McConnell did not want to raise the issue because it would appear to be interfering in the election or appear to be trying to influence the outcome.
You are lying. Mueller said he could not indict a sitting president. That was the rules of the justice department. His list of obstructions that Trump may have committed disproves your absolutely wrong post again. He said that his department was not the place to get justice for the American people. He saw the power of the house and senate as the proper system to deal with a crooked president.

The Yahoo article has a link to the book. It says when Daniel started efforts to secure state voting systems the red states resisted because they did not want federal interference. Also, that Russia thought Hillary would win and was not trying to flip votes as much as weaken her position.
It was also an attempt to delegitimize the election which seems to have worked based on the opinions of a lot of our posters--that Trump is not the legitimate president.

I haven't heard any defense of Russia. Only doubts that the election results were changed which neither side can produce any evidence of. Did Russian interference affect the 2018 election results? The government has brought prosecutions for interference in that election.
Since Russian involvement sought to delegitimize the election and many of our posters have said Trump is not the legitimate president, their propaganda obviously worked on the anti-Trump people, also. After all, they did not think Trump would actually win.
Why did Obama tell the security people to "stand down" in their efforts to counter Russian interference?
