Trump Approval Rating Hits All-Time High in New Gallup Poll May 1st.

Last time, Biden was an idiot. He gave Hillary 'her chance'. Stupid move.

But...nobody knew trump then. They do now. He won't get those Indies that fell for his bullshit last time. Jobs...gone. No health insurance as promised. Quite the contrary. He did exactly what he promised not to...hand billionaires tax cuts.

Remember 'I'm going to raise taxes on the rich...my friends are going to be mad at me'?

Millions of people are chomping at the bit to vote against trump. His only chance is the voter suppression we saw in '18, when Dems still ran the table.

Yes, millions of people are chomping at the bit to vote against Trump, but millions more will vote for him.

Even though the linked poll below has Biden in the lead, let's not forget that Hillary once led Obama before he beat her in 2008. It's still over 6 months to the election. If the economy picks up again and Biden keeps stepping on his dick, that could easily swing the other way.

Speaking of Biden, remember when all those Liberals were making fun of Mike Pence for refusing to be alone with a woman not his wife? Yeah. Good advice in retrospect.

Polls are pretty accurate, even if not fully accurate.

Typical Western mind, All or Nothing thinking, something must be 100% or else it's 0%.

Absolute thinking, truly a relic of the more primitive days.

Typical conservative mind. They live in a simpleton’s binary world.

I get a chuckle out of the definitive predictions lol.

Especially in May. There’s A LOT that can happen between now and November.

The ability to predict is evidence of education, the models that science uses are exactly that, if the models are right, if they can correctly predict, then we know what is going on.

However, I made no prediction, I was explaining what is going on now.

All polls average Approve - 43.4% Disapprove - 50.7%

The person you were talking to made a rock solid prediction lol.

It would not only be harmful to their reputation but completely silly for any pollster to put out "definitive predictions".

Agreed a lot can happen in the next six months. Anyone who thinks this is just about an up or down vote of Trump or the same for Biden is missing the big picture of reality.

FWIW, I predict Trump will win and the Democrats will tighten their grip on Congress, maybe even flip the Senate.

Could happen.

But so many things are going to almost certainly happen between now and November.

That’s my prediction—a lot is going to happen. Outcome predictions are little more than guesses at this point.

My prediction is the economy will return full force but at a cost of about 200,000 Americans. Most Americans will realize two important things: 1) it was necessary to make that sacrifice and 2) it was a long term failure of our national leadership that put our nation into the position of forcing that sacrifice. As such, the election will turn out as I predicted. Should be a fun summer!

My prediction: Trump wins.

We'll likely be within a few months of a vaccine by November. This is what Trump does best: he will convince Americans that changing leadership will DELAY the approval and availability of the vaccine.

It's not unlike a wartime President convincing Americans that changing course w/ the troops in harm's way could be disastrous.

Nobody does it better. By election day, enough Americans will be convinced that they need to keep Trump in power just to get a vaccine sooner. He'll use their desperation and manipulate it like the professional con man he is.

No, I'm enjoying a laugh. Nothing to add to mindless posturing other than that. Apparently you use to feel the same about these worthless polls.

no, i never felt that way, and I've already proved you wrong on that. It's literally the exact opposite of what you say. I've always quoted polls, discussed polls, and understood polls more than anyone else on this site. so shove it up your ass.

maybe you should try believing in statistics, math, and science for a change.

I’m skeptical of the 200k number.

Did you see where the CDC revised the numbers down to 37k deaths?

You also have kind of virus-centric analysis. One thing that ‘could happen’ is it falls off the radar by mid-late summer. Durham lurks, still yet. What if it turns out the Trump campaign was literally and illegally spied on by our own intelligence agencies?

I would give that at least a 50/50 chance and it could be a game changer.

Polls aren't scientific numbers. For them to be scientific they'd have to have more of a consensus to them. These worthless polls are cherry-picked and vary wildly depending on bias. They are no more than guesstimates for hype's sake and pollsters are like the political version of bookies. Just looking at how some of you saps act over the most minor fluctuations just shows how good they are at this. Or is it just that some make it just that easy?

Misinformation alert. The CDC did NOT do that. Read it again, please.

That would be welcome information, but it isn't what they reported.

It’s right in their chart: numbers of deaths where *the proximal cause* is COVID19 stands at 37k.

That kind of data is critical if they want an accurate CFR.
