That's a dilemma. How do you force other states on what to teach their kids? Over 90% of public school funding is local; usually state or country. If a majority of the states want to teach "Creation Science", how do you stop them? Pass a Federal law? That would be antithetical to the ideology of small government and State's Rights.

Usually, but it's up to each state to decide how to generate revenue. Correct: The richer the tax-base, the better the schools. I live in a rural country, but it has excellent schools. Many people leave Fort Worth and Dallas to be here for the schools....which is why my taxes have doubled in the last 5 years.

White privilege, right-hander privilege and "the Texas schoolbook" meme are twisted facts. In reality, they are all Democracy: majority rules. Other states are allowed to have their own textbook, make scissors and cameras for Left-handers and give minorities all the power.
