Current situation at restaurants

Very profound and such an informational bonus. You wonder why we laugh at rightys.

It is all of the really bad ideas that have come from the left over the last many decades with the failed universities being the primary driver that is the majority of the reason why America is now so fucked.

Guess what? your theory belongs in the toilet because food/service industry is whining no one wants to work, yet you sit here complaining they should. What are you going to do? Force them at gunpoint to turn burgers? Good luck getting rid of illegals; as long as penny pinching American businessmen continue to hire them in order to save a few pennies, nothing is going to change. Let's get with the program old timer.

Get a job, loser.

We'd smoke weed and build something, a tree fort, shed, doghouse, pump house, maybe cook something; This fucker just slacks.

They will be feeding this kid til they die.

Then I think back on how bad we had it, but we made it!

19 years old, we moved out and "roomed". Working at the labor pool, living off baloney n hot dogs. You got what you could afford.

We'd get some beer (too much?) and the rooms would be rockin' with us fucking girls every night. We were the party house!

Idk if that kid's ever been laid. Doing bathtub laundry. Gotta have clean clothes.

I'll string a clothesline in a heartbeat! We went 1 month without power, nothing but candles. Not too bad in the wintertime in FL.

It would be bad in the summer, be we got better jobs by then. He got a job framing with this douchebag, and I got a job screening with a midget Italian Romeo.
He was alright on the job, but Good Lord he thought he was God's gift to women.

I almost kicked my friend's boss's ass so many times. He was a total dick. Then he'd hang out after work..:palm:

I was glad when he told me he got fired. He found something else. He always does. I always do, too.

:cruisewhat:

We have been trying to support restaurants and fast food all through the pandemic. Because of gross mismanagement of the unemployment system and as well the WOKE TALIBAN teaching that work is oppression restaurants are having a huge problem finding people who are willing to work. Have you in the last few months seen a steep drop off of food quality as business booms without there being enough staff...or at least enough good staff?

Are service levels going down?

Please Report.

lies......... pay people a living wage and the jobs will be filled PERIOD!

TTQ64 may be very indignant about my color blindness approach to race relations,

but the seething Black Panther militant is absolutely correct about the above.

The anti-vaxxers on the right are causing this. If we were all vaccinated, we would return to normal. Restaurants would not have to worry about help or customers. However the vaccinated do not want to serve rightys who are walking in a cloud of viruses and take them home to their children and parents.

This is the test of mass murdering leftists who have it more profitable to stay home than return to work. Deny it you miserable fuck.

They need to be filled with people who are both capable and willing to do good work, and as well people who generally will stick around. The Left has long been shitting all over work ethic, which is catastrophic for the society.

Expect a mandatory service fee to be added, that is generally what Seattle restaurants ended up doing.

They can, but at some point the bottom line on the check is going to be all that matters. I took the wife out for her birthday on Sunday and the tab for four guests was (in round numbers) $200. That's a minimum $30 tip. I left more because the waiter we had was good at his job and I wanted to help that part of the economy, but I've been to plenty of other countries where tipping is completely unheard of. I think you shouldn't have to pay more for good service. Eliminate tips and any "fee" that makes up for it and pay a commensurate wage instead.

Now because of IRS mandates tips are a pain in the butt for restaurants.

I know! I always try to leave the tip in cash versus put it on the tab if I'm paying with a card.

My accountant says I have to keep track of mileage, and every expense for my gig electrical work. My latest write off is this:

Tips are supposed to be about cash under the table.

I won't even go knowingly to a restaurant that already adds it to the bill.

Usually it's the douchebaggy corporate places that do that.
