You need to look at this as a religious issue, i.e. Team Israel (Jews and American Christians) proseltyzing Israeli supremacy while demonizing the Philistines (Palestinians), the "evil bad guys" of the Old Testament.

I am disgusted with Israel and they just happen to be run by Jews. I don't hate them but they sure seem to bring trouble with them where ever they turn up. They can do whatever floats their boat until it affects me. Which it does because I don't have any spare change for the bums with signs or them. And I sure as hell don't have any extra kids to die for them.

As for what state isn't failed? You may not want to hear this but I would point to Russia who maintains fiscal discipline in spite of their other flaws.
